Signing Sessions makes sense to me with Rubio staying in Europe. He is a good addition to Flynn. I'm not sure about your math.

Do you even look at what happened since they drafted their players? Of the 3 (not 12) PGs they drafted in the 1st round only 1 is left with the team. Rubio is staying in Europe, Ty Lawson was traded on draft night to Denver, and Flynn is still there, so signing Sessions to an offer sheet is a smart thing. Gives them some veteran experience to help Flynn along. Also don't forget it is an offer sheet which means the Bucks can match it.

Sarcasm or not, the point they are making still stands. The signing makes sense if you have been following that team. So, the criticism doesn't makes sense regardless of that fact your being sarcastic about the number. I think that was the point they were making.

I think it was a typo. See quote below. IMO, the key word that gives intent is the word "draft."
The Timberwolves did indeed draft 2 PGs.
I think Sessions is a bit underrated. As a starter last season he averaged 15.1 ppg / 7.6 ast / 4.2 reb / 1.3 stl in 39 games in his sophomore year. I don't know what the Bucks were doing playing Ridnour ahead of him most of the season. This is a good move for the T-Wolves. I think Sessions is due for a big year if he gets to start every night.
When did the suns board get filled with douchebags? They drafted 3 PGs in the draft, traded one and one decided he didn't want to play for them. Doesn't change the fact that they drafted 3 PGs and still ended up signing another one. I never questioned the effectiveness of this move, just thought the way it went down was pretty funny so i mixed in a little hyperbole in the title and im still getting crap for it. Lighten up.

Technically they drafted 4 (Rubio, Flynn, Lawson, and Calathes). I am with you. It seems as though the new regime in Minnesota are all over the place.
Regarding the people around here...the board has gotten more and more argumentative over the past 6 months or so. If people disagree with you then be ready for an attack.

Shzm13 I don't have a problem with you. My problem is people who say things that are dumb. And sorry but this is one of them. Yes they drafted 3 guys, but since only 1 of them will be with the team this year why is it so crazy to sign a veteran to help out. Not many teams would want a rookie PG to play 40 minutes a game. I would love for people to understand why teams do things instead of look at just 1/4 of the puzzle.

I wouldn't call this a stupid thread. Should it have gone in the Other NBA Talk" forum? Yes. But he didn't misinform. Come on guys... you really think he thought they drafted 12 pg's? Let's get real.
He never said that signing Sessions was a bad move (other than saying "what the hell are they thinking?). The way I took it was that the Wolves have had a mess of an offseason, which they have. They traded Randy Foy and Mike Miller in order to pick up the 5th pick and a bunch of crappy contracts. Then they take the 5th and 6th pick and draft 2 pg's which pisses off Rubio and causes him to stay in Spain for at least 2 more years. So essentially they trade Mike Miller and Foy for crappy contracts. Now they are forced to sign Sessions to a 4 year deal. So what happens 2 years from now if Flynn proves to be great and Sessions continues to play well. Rubio still won't want to come over here and they will be forced to trade him. Even if he did come over they have postponed their rebuilding at least 2 years.
So IMO opinion this thread isn't stupid. What is stupid is the way Minnesota has handled their offseason and specifically the PG position. Lighten up and ease up people.

Yah it's gotten pretty sad. Not that I have been 100% guilt free, but I used to love this place, and have now been forced to look elsewhere for Suns talk.

All the OP was trying to do was make a point that Minnesota drafted so many point guards and still have a point guard issue. It's ironic, it's slightly funny. Some may disagree.

I doubt anyone thought they drafted 12 PGs. Did i think it was sarcasm? No. i thought it was a typo and by highlighting it, he can rectify the mistake, assuming one can edit titles.
