i thought it was a typo and by highlighting it, he can rectify the mistake, assuming one can edit titles.

Seriously? Then why didn't you make an equally big fuss about "draftinng"?

Anyway, it was exaggeration, not sarcasm. They aren't the same thing. Although apparently those who cannot recognize one also struggle with the other.

All the OP was trying to do was make a point that Minnesota drafted so many point guards and still have a point guard issue. It's ironic, it's slightly funny. Some may disagree.

We don't need the ****ing Comedy Police in the offseason declaring what is and isnt funny.

+1

Suns board here is turning what azcentral's comment board now is.

pulease ... there is no way you can tell a title like that is exaggeration when the body of the thread itself didn't suggest such.
Actually, i would have been more inclined to think that if his post and title are swapped, but does a harmless question really deserve name calling, a simple clarification (no matter how condescending) would have suffice.
My bad for trying to get clarification for future readers, i can only imagine what we would have being called if we had pointed out "draftinng".

There's no way to tell that a reference to drafting 12 PGs is an exaggeration? That's, um, quite a bizarre claim.

I knew I should have stayed away from this thread.

The bizarro here is you assuming we should all see a numerical value the way you see it.

Yeah, you are getting worked up over nothing. This is a public forum not a frat house, deal with it.

I immediately knew it was an exaggeration (or sarcasm as I mistakingly called it). I don't see how in the world you can possibly think that the guy thought the Wolves owned 1/5 of all the picks in the draft, and opted to draft a PG with every one of them.

TYPO people, TYPO. There is no right thinking basketball fan that would think they actually drafted 12, they must have the worst FO (well maybe they do).
You mistakenly thought it was a sarcasm just as i thought it was a typo

Nope it's not. maybe a string of PGs or tens of thousands of PGs or even Dozens of PGs.

When did the suns board get filled with douchebags? They drafted 3 PGs in the draft, traded one and one decided he didn't want to play for them. Doesn't change the fact that they drafted 3 PGs and still ended up signing another one. I never questioned the effectiveness of this move, just thought the way it went down was pretty funny so i mixed in a little hyperbole in the title and im still getting crap for it. Lighten up.

I doubt anyone thought they drafted 12 PGs. Did i think it was sarcasm? No. i thought it was a typo and by highlighting it, he can rectify the mistake, assuming one can edit titles.

XD, ya, a typo. He accidentally typed 12 instead of 3. :bang:

1 + 2 = 3. :)

C'mon guys, lighten up. I broaden my thinking, reading the pros and cons of the signing. Not by reading insults about the people who post them.

Not having any idea how many PGs Minny drafted I remember wondering whether '12' was a typo or hyperbole. Eventually other posters made it clear. What ticks me off about the whole thing is that Rubio won't be playing in the league next year as he is definitely fun to watch.

I don't think the board is that much grouchier than in the past, its mainly that there's virtually nothing of interest happening with the Suns and anticipation is low for the upcoming season as well. Hard not be a little depressed about it all. Heck, we don't even have George starting three threads a day this summer, spreading the grouchiness over more threads if nothing else.

With apologies to Bill Simmons, we just shattered the Unintentional Comedy scale.
Your insults are so predictable. And yet, you say nothing.

I really got a good belly laugh out of this one.

As I said in the post you "responded" to:

I broaden my thinking, reading the pros and cons of the signing. Not by reading insults about the people who post them.

And then you proved it.

In the words of John Francis Bongiovi, Jr., "Have a nice day!" :)

maybe the t-wolves are going to try this pasta approach to a different position each year

draft 3, trade 1 - be unable to sign the other in part because he's upset you drafted the same exact position in the same exact lottery

sign an FA to that spot

and then when all else fails trade for another (antonio daniels)

it's sad the mess that franchise has become

I hear that Nash guy is pretty good.

Yah he's dang good... offensively.

I was just kidding, let's please don't start the Nash fights again. I am sure we will have plenty of those after getting lit up by opposing point guards this year.
