Superspck:

These are some of the scanned pages I took from the library book "footballs best offensive playbook" by dwight hawkins
. I put this together to help you when the Offense AI comes online.

IMO the two biggest things we need to work on for the offense is establishing a base offense (such as illustrated below) w/ variations AND defensively stopping variations of the SI HB slam.

For example we should look into more passing plays with the strong I formation and also look into changing up blocking schemes/assignments to keep the run game effective.

My biggest fear as a DC is facing variations of the strong I slam.

In the main GLB forum somebody posted a test inwhich the HB's had crappy runs and fumblitus after the same play was used 7 times - I totally see a team simply tweaking something and running different variations of the same play without that penalty.

For the Maori - I like us to actually have three playbooks (Run, Balance, and Pass)inwhich based on our scouting we simply load up without screwing around with the percentages.

I think we can build our offensive AI with plays such as this - except with alternate formations established per playbook.

Does this make sense to you?

LOL...about once a week we go to the library...last night I went over to the football section and found this book.

Typically most nights we have reading time inwhich the rugrats read their books....I read this one. :)

It also helps having real smart college kids being coordinators (like superspck) to make it work.

On the defensive side I got a gem of an assistant (another brainy kid) that has built the tampa 2 and bears 46 defense for the Maori.

This is gonna be the best season yet.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
So, I take it we're not running the A-11 offense this season :(

Wait... wasn't it supposed to go live, or one season beta first?

Cause I wanted to build some trees!

Nice find by the way, I'll spend some time study those.

Got the files in a higher res?

Looks like it won't go till S10. I can scan them in a higher res (300dpi).

Dammit.

And don't worry about the scan, I figured out how to zoom in Firefox.

I think we can still use this thread to begin sketching out some plays w/ notes on assignment options so that we'll be halfway prepared next season.

Looking at this example - it looks like we can have plenty of killer passing plays.
