The Cal/Stanford game was crazy because of the lunacy of the play but I agree, that was an insane ending.
Auburn is not leap-frogging OSU unless OSU loses. If OSU had a loss then it may be possible but a one loss team isn't overtaking an unbeaten team from a major conference. Especially ateam like OSU that will have 25 in a row. Bottom line is Auburn has lost and OSU hasn't.Not so fast. There's talk of Auburn leap-frogging OSU and Mizzou especially considering OSU barely made it out of Michigan alive. Then there's the SEC championship. Hopefully though they put the right 2 teams in the championship game, not what they think will get the best ratings.
That's funny. You should apply the same thinking to FSU since almost every computer ranking has FSU with a weaker schedule than OSU. I'm sure their schedule strength will get a huge boost next weekend when they play that football powerhouse Duke in the ACC championship while OSU will be playing a top 10 Michigan St. team. It'll be a complete joke if Ohio State goes to the BCS game. They beat #23 Wisconsin and um... well... yeah...

Ok St. has every bit a claim to play as does Auburn or Mizzou but they also forgot to win all their games.
I'm not saying OSU is great but they are 12-0 winning by about 30 points a game and played 3 1/2 games without their starting QB.

Just going by computer strength of schedule's.FSU stomped Maryland when they were ranked 25th.
FSU stomped Clemson when they were ranked #3 and at Death Valley.
FSU stomped Miami when they were ranked #7.
And now they'll play Duke for the ACC championship and Duke is ranked #24.
Say what you want about FSU's schedule but if they beat Duke they would have beaten 4 ranked teams, all quite handily(so far) including 2 top 10 teams. OSU has only played 2 ranked teams so let's not go cast aspersions at other teams' schedule.
With players bought and paid for by Jim Tressel, Bobby DiGeronimo, and Eddie Rife. Tressel must have picked that up at a coaches clinic at Oklahoma.
No doubt. MSU can easily beat OSU but I think OSU just has too much offense for Sparty.Don't forget that Ohio State must still get past Michigan State as the Big Ten now has a championship game. It will be played at Lucas stadium (Dome ) in Indianapolis. Not a gimme for OSU as MSU has lost only one game.
who lets any college FG kicker attempt a 57 yarder with overte on the way? Stupid.
Wrong.Just going by computer strength of schedule's.
You're really trying to use Maryland, Miami, and Duke as strength of schedule builders for FSU . Clemson played 2 good teams the last half of the season and, as usual, were thoroughly handled in both.
If we're going to play that game, Northwestern was undefeated top 10 team when OSU beat them at home. Look how that turned out. Wisconsin was an undefeated top 10 team when OSU beat them. MSU will be a top 10 this week. Hell, Iowa may have even been ranked when OSU beat them. Beating Michigan, at home, is better than any win on FSU's schedule. Let's not act like they don't have any talent then sing the praises of 4 loss teams like UGA and A&M.
You were right, Northwestern was ranked 16th and undefeated and I forgot about Wisky getting screwed at ASU. Sorry, I didn't have the exact poll rankings from early in the season etched into my memory.Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong.
Highly unlikely.
The fact that you had to make all that stuff up in order to pad Ohio State's resume speaks volumes.
They are still in the Big 10Are Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana still in the Big 10? I think they moved to the Patriot league with Iowa State and Kansas.
I would like to add that this game shows us what's wrong with college football. Alabama, who had been #1 and on their way to a 3rd straight BCS title game loses on a fluke play and are now out of the picture. This is screaming for a real playoff.
