All you Levi Brown defenders still believe he doesn't suck?

I've had five years to make my opinion of Brown. I think that's a fair amount of time to determine if he sucks or not. I mean, he's played maybe a full four quarters this pre-season and racked up 3 false starts, 2 holdings penalties and given up 2 sacks. That's REALLY awful for four quarters worth of football.

and you list Dwight Freeney as an ELITE pass rusher, but he hasn't been elite for since 2010, his play noticeably dropping off in the last two seasons.

is he the better then what we had last year at the position? sure. but that's like saying a singe piece of poop is better then non-stop diaherrea. bottom line, they both stink.

Last season Freeney had 5 sacks and 10 tackles in 14 games. Not exactly top of the league.

Ya, and when the Cards signed Abraham people were excited for all the sacks he had last season, but most went silent when I pointed out how many were against the Cards and the Raiders in November.

But now Freeney is ALL PRO again since he beat Levi.

If it weren't for the Duckjake jinx I'd say I'm a big fan of John Abraham. I really like the way he rushes the passer. Just looks better at it than anyone else we've had since Berry.; He actually tries to get around the OT instead of just running straight into him. He's got that lean like a slalom water skier that great pass rushers have.

is there really that many people that are saying whatever drek behind him is better? i think it's almost universally believed that Brown is our best LT. but that says basically nothing to me about how good or bad he is. it's more a comment on how awful the guys behind him are.

I think he's better than you give him credit for (slightly below average IMO) but I'm with you on a replacement. I'm tired of having a left tackle that the best we can say about him is that he isn't as bad as some people say. I want a Dan Dierdorf or a Jackie Slater or a Lincoln Kennedy not a Levi Brown.

That's a sad stat considering the best pass rushers in the NFL average barely more than 1 sack per game.

I was impressed with the way he comported himself this evening.

I dont think anyone here things levi is great. You are just yelling that people should dislike him more than they do.

The problem is we all know you think Levi sucks. We don't need you to post it in every one of your posts 50,000 times a day. I would say 90% of your posts say Levi sucks. We get it. You don't like Levi. He is an average LT & is better than anything we have on the roster.
