Pretty sad to still keep yapping about this, especially when Knick fans want players who are loyal to the Blue and Orange.
---------------
In fact, Stoudemire was committed to becoming James' full-time running mate until the Cavs shifted their focus from Stoudemire and instead traded for Antawn Jamison last winter. Stoudemire acknowledged Wednesday that the power structure in the NBA would look dramatically different today if the Cavs had acquired the All-Star power forward before last February's trading deadline.

"He would have stayed in Cleveland," Stoudemire told the Daily News. "And I wouldn't have had a problem playing in Cleveland. I would have signed there. But it didn't happen."

oh puleeze ... how presumptious of Amare to think Lebron would stay if he was there. They probably ran it by him first, and Lebron said "no thanks" to Amare :)

You seem very determined to show Amare in the worst light. Why is that? You could have just as easily presented this conversation:
Naturally, we were curious to find out how Amar’e feels about another player he’s probably used to hearing about, LeBron James.

NewsOne: ...how much damage you think he would have been able to make with you?

Amar’e Stoudemire: I’m not concerned about LeBron James. We have an opportunity here in New York to do something special.

Or this comment:
As we all know, Steve Nash and Raymond Felton are far apart talent wise. Nash is arguably one of the top three point guards in the NBA, while Felton is somewhere around top 15-20 depending on who you ask. Two weeks ago, we touched on Amar’e Stoudemire’s current situation and how the change of point guard has affected his numbers.NewsOne: 35 points in a winning effort, how hard is it to make it look so easy without Steve Nash?

Amar’e Stoudemire: ...it’s just a matter of becoming a complete player, that’s my goal. I think Raymond Felton is doing great job at the point guard spot trying to figure the way we play.

We all know how you feel about the guy but chasing down negative articles (and ignoring the many positive ones) is a bit obsessive. You're starting to come across like a shrill ex-lover.

I didn't chase down this article, I live in NY and happened to read it in the morning.

If you don't like it don't read it... Fairly simple.

Dang, you mean we lost the right to comment on it when we disagree with it? Now, I'm going to have to go back and unread half the stuff that appears on this board. As often as I change my mind, I'll probably have to unread half the things I wrote also.
