YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bah all you Romber haters...

At least we saw on this leg that the conspiracy theories can stop...that plane held up for Uchenna and Joyce...Ron and Kelly tell the guy to not call a cab...if Rob had done that, you'd all be calling it a dirty play :)

Anyways, I wanted Uchenna and Joyce, or Romber to win, so I'm happy anyways...good final episode, very tense...

What a great show!

Romber wouldn't have risked the million just to make sure their cabbie got his money. :D

Funniest part was Romber not being able to read the sign saying "JUMP" and follow it like the other teams to the 30 ft jump spot. :doi:

Hey, I would have told the cabbie I'm about to win a cool million, you hang around for a bit and I'll give you $100 dollars...

But it appeared that they don't seem to be able to tell them much about what the race is about...

YES!!!!

WOO HOOO!!!!!

Notice how ROMBER got lost without the local guides? Couldn't find their way around a sugar mill or Little Havana....... Seems like without their Fame, they'd been out 6 - 7 legs before..........

And what was with U/J not being able to beg for money BEFORE the leg started. I remember the other contestants being able to do all that before a leg started..

I like the way they did the finale better, but seemed inconsistant.

*YAWN*

Everyone gets help...Rob's problem was that he was in a hurry and ran off too quick before looking around....

Leave Romber alone!

Payback for the help RoMBER got in Botswana - same situation.......

Yet you were all mad about that, now that it didn't help Romber, everyone is okay with it...

Amazing how our morals change when it's against someone we don't like :)

Nah - just payback. It is very clear that CBS edited the race to make fans love/hate ROMBER - and showed things like the Botswana plane incident to heighten the irony of what happened in San Juan.

Both seemed a little staged. If Romber hadn't made the plane in Botwana , they could have been eliminated.

Great ending. I'm glad for U/J. They played an honest & proud race. Anynoe of the other teams would've ran off from the taxi.

I hope that they will be able to have children from this added $$$>

Yeah Lucy and I had the same thought. It seemed to me that when the old folks got their reprieve they started the next day with borrowed clothes and money but I'm not sure if that was before or after the leg had officially started.

That flat tire nearly cost them a million, great though that was my favorite team.

Well you could make the same argument for them letting Romber on the same plane. They were told repeatedly it was closed, we'd just seen them at another airport in an identical situation be told that security rules prevented them from boarding a flight that had already closed, so unless those rules are different by airport, them being allowed to board for Miami was just as iffy as them reopening the flight for U/J.

Now obviously it would appear they saw the cameras and stuff and decided to let U/J on, I seriously doubt TAR has enough pull in post 9/11 air travel to get them to pull that just to create drama, so it was clearly a case of the airline employees deciding to do that for whatever reason.

If Rob and Amber had gotten there in plenty of time, bought tickets, got on the plane and then had them stop it and let U/J onboard it would have been a lot worse, but it certainly DID look fishy the way they showed it.

I agree! I was clapping and jumping up and down for Uchena and Joyce! And they did it without the money at the beginning of the leg. I hope they're able to have children. They just seem like such a great couple. I am way happy for them!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that was my not so subtle way of saying when it happened in Botswana it was a LOT more fishy than what they showed last night.

From what we saw, and my own experiences in international travel, neither team would have been allowed on that flight to Miami if not for the cameras.

We also saw last night even Rob has a limit to how far he'll go, his "my mother" comment was never finished when he was begging to get on a flight, I guess even he can't lie about his mothers health or something to try and win.

I will say this, given how hated they were by the rest of the cast, for them to be THAT close to winning is pretty amazing.

Come on - you know you want something of Amber's straight from Beaver...

(PA, that is)

Line of the show last night though...

Amber said something like "I'll do it just to make you happy Rob...and after the race, you can make ME happy."

:D

A little bored and I found a site called reality blurred. They say that sportsbook.com stopped taking bets on the outcome of TAR7 when they saw
a significant increase in better on Uchena and Joyce starting March 3rd. They decided someone must have been using inside knowledge of the outcome so they cancelled any betting on the outcome.

Also Phil the host apparently has said an all star cast season may be in the works. Don't know if that means people already on the show, or just people like Romber who're already well known.
