I have League Pass this year and I had no problems with the refs up to this point. They must have had money riding on this game.

Memories of playoff misfortunes...The refs were absolutely awful in the second half. I'm tired of the NBA...

What can you do, it happens all the time.... If only there was some magical technology that would allow the referees to review a key play down the stretch in order to determine the correct call.......

The Suns made enough mistakes in this game to lose it, but you still hate to see it lost on a blown call.

The officiating is a complete joke.

Often it seems the referees chose the winners and losers. It is distasteful and it takes away from the quality of the game. I wish the referees would call the game fairly both ways. Sometimes I wonder if the NBA is like pro wrestling except no one let the Suns know.

I rarely blame refs for a loss. But this is one is too one-sided. If Amare got the charging fouls on him for far less motions, Billups should be called one later for driving into Hill. But they called it blocking. And all the foul calls and no-calls under basket all went in favor of Denver. It seemed as if the refs had an agenda to give it to Nugs.

We partially lost the game due to fatigue. We committed way too many costly TOs in the 3rd, until we went to Amare downlow. Well, refs killed us there by not giving Amare a fair chance. But at least, we got other players some valuable resting time over the ISo plays. And his turnovers were dead ball ones and didn't burden our atrocious transition defense even more as earlier bad passes did. In fact, Nash didn't have enough energy left to nail more clutch shots while totally spent as the one-man show earlier.

my impression too. it's way too obvious that they called it unfairly, not just poorly as often the case.

hmm Tossed for complaining about a non call = more points for the Nuggets.
fishy
Here is a theory:
In the first half it seemed like all callls went for the Suns benefit. some were ticky tack. Karl got a technical complaining about the ******** calling because it was so one-sided in the 2nd quarter. That gets the home fans riled up.

Then in the 2nd half, the refs reverse their calling, and the home team comes back. It ends as a close game, but the home team wins which makes their fans happy. So they buy more tickets and merchandise because they feel good about their team.

Home team never questions the crappy calls that go their way at the end and neither do their fans. The visiting team and their fans are called whiners if they complain. All is quickly forgotten because they play another game in a day or two.

Point spread or whoever is supposed to win does and we blame the players for making mistakes earlier in the game so it never should have been that close. Stern and his kind laugh at how blind we are that they can pull this off right in front of us.

We've been struggling a lot lately on offense after a good 1st quarter or half on offense. It happened against the Knicks, Mavs, Magic, and the Nuggets tonight just off the top of my head. What's up with that?

Can Earl Clark rebound? We could have used a lot of help reboundingwise in the 2nd half tonight.
