Del Toro just creeps me out. I can't watch him in anything.

The boxing one, Cinderella man, was pretty good. Didn't watch the romantic comedy. I don't think I overly enjoyed any Del Toro movie, even Traffic.
When does this open?
i was hoping this film was gonna be great.
but i couldnt wait for it to end. it just seemed to lack intensity and drama and it kept dragging on. in a 150 min film, i would have like to seen some more character developments but that didnt happen.
denzel is good as usual though so that pretty much makes it a must see, but i cant see myself watching this again.
Wow.. What did you do? Bring a stop watch into the movie theater?
this movie is just getting GLOWING reviews. I'll definitely see it sometime this week.
and just one week away - the Coen Bros' comeback!
No Country For Old Men? Haven't even HEARD anything about it. Is this really the Coen Brothers or the guys who have been pretending to be them recently?
Just watched Lebowski the other night on HDDVD. That's some of the best dialogue writing in a comedy ever. I really love those guys when they are on their game.

Does it matter? If you're a Coen Bros. fan you're going to see a Coen Bros. movie in the theater. Just like the Wachowski Bros.
Well I did a film check and all that I have seen by the Coen Bros was Fargo and I didn't like it.
For his safety in 1977 Frank Lucas and his family were placed in the witness protection program.[5] In 1981 after 5 years in prison his 40-year Federal term and 30-year state term were reduced to time served plus lifetime parole.[8] In 1984 he was caught dealing drugs again and was convicted for new drug violations and a parole violation. He received a sentence of seven years and was released from prison in 1991.
Most will disagree with me, but I liked this better than No Country for Old Men.Just watched it. Awesome movie. I don't see how you could say that it drags on too long. I watched the nearly 3 hour version and still wanted more. Instant classic. (Caveat - I tend to really like gangster movies/tv shows)
The movie slightly modified the events after Lucas goes to prison. Here's the true story:
