yeah - i noticed that too yesterday - she was hanging out pretty good

sandjaya is definitely through and will tour with the top 10 - actually kind of dig it, because unlike the ones in the past who made it through who were terrible (chris savol, kevin corvais) sandjaya is fully aware that he isn't that good and is almost embarassed by it

if any guys in the group can crack the top 5 it will be chris sligh and blake. if any guy has even a remote chance of cracking the top 3, it will be blake - but i would be surprised. he has to contend with some really good voices on the girls side (Lakisha, Melinda and Jordin).

Blake's is the only performance I caught last night. I thought it was a very cool take on that song (which I like a lot to begin with), but I thought his actual singing was pretty poor.

He's a helluva all 'round performer, but his singing isn't top-notch, IMO.

That said, I like him a lot.

good performer - i hate beatboxing in general (1985 up in this piece!) - liked his actual take on the song though - not a great singer, but understands performer - better than skinny chris who just says he's a great performer

sligh is going to annoy me - i like him, but hate strong lisps on singers and his is starting to come through more and more

When these two first showed up for auditions, I stated that the Disney Channel should sign them to a development deal. They wouldnt be perfect for a tween/teen show. Tons of merchandising possibilities too.


edit: By "these two" I meant Sanjaya and his sis, not her boobies.

And why was that lil girl crying for? Even why they brought her up and stage at the end she was ballin her eyes out..

It was "British Invasion Night". Haven't you ever seen those clips from the sixties where girls cried when they got to hear and see the Beatles live.

I think they staged it or just went with it because of the theme of the night. It was kind of funny actually and was a good oppertunity to talk with my daughter and let her know it was never OK to cry for a singer of a band. Especially singers that suck.

Phil Stacy remaining is just as much of a farce. I heard he has the born again support or something. He was by far the worst last night. If Sanjaya wins then Howard Stern should consider a Presidential campaign.

who cares if it's a farce - why should it be serious?! - OMG, some company is going to be forced to make an album with a guy who was passed through as a joke (didn't that already happen with mr hung?!)

they'll still have their claws dabbed in and other "losers" have launched decent careers

if you are good enough to make it - you will get the publicity to do so by making it this far - really doesn't matter who wins - the show was never a great gauge of top level commercial (or even technical) singing talent

just sit back and enjoy it for what it is

yeah - no one was forced to - but it got done and the world didn't stop spinning

i think taylor hicks is an assclown, but I can honestly say that it hasn't affected my life one iota that he won this competition

if sandjaya wins what is the worse that will happen?!

the same thing that always happens, those that can make it will make it - those that can't (sanjaya) will disappear like that justin dude (he was a runner up, movie star, etc!)

Well at least there is something worth watching this show for.

I'd vote for that talentless chick Santeria a billion times if it kept his bouncing sis on the screen.

Maybe there are stills some redeeming qualities about this show.
