This was a need pick. We only had three WRs and no punt returner. We could not afford to have Breaston do it anymore with Q gone. Trust me, this kid's a player.

Great Pick, I called this one!!!!!!!!!!!!

This kid caught my eye a couple of weeks ago and I doubted he would be there when we picked in the third round.

He will be a guy teams will punt away from. Youtube this kid and just sit back and watch. He is a threat every time he touchs the ball. I'm sure Whiz already has more than a couple ideas of how to get this kid the ball in some space.

DRC is returning from injury and McFadden played poorly last season.Leaving Midget Mike Adams and Toler as the primary backups.
Hope the Cards think CB in Rd 4.

My remarks from the draft thread....

Just got back from youtube.

We have found our punt returner.... I am still skeptical of his level of competition. It does look like he played Clemson a bit and came out looking good on the small set of highlights I saw.

Unfortunately I saw more wiggle, and elusiveness than overall speed. Will he turn into our Wes Welker? Maybe. I do not see him as a deep threat like Wallace.

Also, I don't see Hester like ability. Especially since I remember Hester at Miami. But being Hester-like still puts him in the Welker category for returners. And that is where I think he will end up. Our version of Welker from a receiver and returner standpoint.

I think the coaches have high hopes for Toler. I know I do. I think he will be the starter opposite DRC sometime next season.

Onrea Jones and Gant are not guys you want playing for you on Sundays. I agree we need a CB, I didn't trade away the other 3rd rounder.

We only have 1 CB on this team. DRC. The rest are about as good as you or me out there.

That said, I actually like this pick, even though I prefer corner.

Seem to hear "more quick than fast". So yeah, he will probably return punts for us and play in the slot on obvious passing downs.
