Can't spell his name, but anyways........he's a free agent, and contemplating retriement......what if we were to sign him to a 1 year, very low $$ contract so that he can fiish his career as a Card?

just thought he might make a suitable replacement for at least just a 1 year temp solution, plus help any rookies we may sign/draft.

Anease Williams ! One of my truly favorite all time Cardinals. If he has anything left he is better than anyone we have. Love for him to retire a Card.

I say why not. Darrel Green played a lot longer. Would give him one last shot at winning a Super Bowl (OK dont laugh, but theres no reason not be optimistic at this point).

Aeneas remains my favorite Cardinal of all time. The idea of having him back with us is great and all, howeveer, I don't know how much he can still contribute at this point. If he does retire, I hope he goes out a Cardinal as his best years were definately with us.

And after Aeneas has decided to hang up the pads he will be the most welcome coaching addition to the team, training it's secondary to be only better!

Please! Come back Mr. Williams!

I'd love to have him come back as a nickleback or to compete w/ griffith for FS, but I'd not like to bring him in with the idea that he'll lone up as the #1 or #2 CB. He was great--one of the best ever--but he's lost a step.

I loved Aeneus' play with the Cardinals , but at this stage of his career he hasn't lost a step, he has lost several steps. The Rams are desperate for DB help and they aren't interested. What does that tell you?

I completely disagree but I love your enthusiasm.

Robert Griffith will do just fine as our token old guy on defense. You really can have only one.

He will never come back here, remember we did'nt give him enough free T-shirts and he was so happy to get the hell out of here. Can you remember how great the Rams were and how sad the Cards were.
