i kind of thought they'd show up to all the mandatory things.Voluntary, no way. There's too much good that happened last year and i don't think any player wants to be the cause of "bad chemistry" or not be seen as a team player. It's like Boldin said, he doesn't have any beef with the players.

i dont think we will hear much from dockett. despite him being a loudmouth at times, the guy is all heart and I think the playoffs really effected him, just look at how he talked before and after the Superbowl. He should know he will get his rewards in due time.

DD is all heart on the big stage. Still disappears for to long of stretches against lesser opponents or if not nationally televised IMO.

Agreed, but last season we didn't hear a word from him about his contract once the preseason was over. So, I trust that he will do his thing in the preseason to show he wants a new deal, but we have no worries come regular season. Escalation with Boldin worries me a little bit, but he seems like too much of a players guy to let it affect him on the field (and he is playing for a new contract, whether with us or someone else.. in fact, on the plus side.. we practically get 3 consecutive contract years production wise from him if he stays)

I love DD. I think he will probably be quiet for the most part this year. But next year watch out IMO. And we'll still have to resign Wilson and Boldin most likely.

He may have also realized that he is doing nothing to help his cause by bitching this year, because the team can't even consider it until next year. If he wants to bitch next year, and has a great season this year, I wouldn't take much issue with it.

He hasent realized anything as evidenced by his mysterious hamstring injury today. That says it all.

The Cards wanted the MRI and used the hamstring as an excuse. Right before the request they watched film from the Super Bowl. They wanted to make sure that beast was really OUR Darnell Dockett.

I just checked WebMD and it said that incessant whining about million dollar contracts causes severe strain on the hamstrings. I see no fault on these two "Warriors"... Although I would consider it likely that Boldin will suffer a hammy injury during the season and be out 3 games (although he can come back from a broken face immediately)... I'm sooooo sick of Q's BS...

Shane: maybe you should change the title of your thread to "Anquan and Darnell Showed Up Fake Limping Today while Dansby Wasn't Sure What Time it Was."

Meanwhile, AW shows up, goes to work without drawing any superfluous attention to himself, and is the teammate and loyal player he has always been, new contract in the works or not.

Show AW the money. Fuggetabout the other three.

Been saying for months now that the FIRST contract that gets done should be AW!

Nice to see a Cardinal player actually progress:

Sick of Q`s bitching about his poor contract. Its a shame he has to struggle by on a paltry 3.5 million .Give him a pacifier and ship his whiny out elsewhere.Tired of millionare players hollering about being underpaid. The way things are now Q sholud shut up and play because he`s the one that signed the contract.Same for Dockett.Shut up and live up to your deal.Dansby sounds like he wants to break the bank in FA after the season.Let some other team pay him 10 to 15 million dollars .Not the Cards i hope.:mulli:

Dansby wants his money, Boldin wants his money, Dockett wants his money...this is typical behavior of the modern athlete, so what's new? and the Cards will need to pay some of these whiners just like all the other 31 teams have to deal with their own whiners. Wilson is playing it old school on and off the field-giving his best with full effort and I'm thankful for it. On the field Boldin is old school...off the field he is acting preschool :(
