Just saw the clip of Anquan leaving the stadium during the celebration and guess who had his arm around Anquan's shoulder??? None other than Drew freaking Rosenhaus. Those saying this is much about nothing need to get their heads out of the sand. Again, as Adrian Wilson was crying on national TV, Anquan was walking out of the stadium with Drew Rosenhaus. Honestly, I hope he plays well in the Bowl, but I don't see how anyone can respect this guy after this. Sad and disappointing. That will stick with him forever. His excuse on NFL Live was rediculous. The fact is he took his ball and went home. Mods, feel free to merge, I just don't think this belongs in an Anquan Apologist thread.

I just can't believe Boldin became what we believe he has become. What happened to him??? I am just stunned. I saw him yelling at Haley during the game. I immediately reminded me of TO. I hope that is not the case.

His "I didn't want this to be a distraction" line is so absurd and some people are eating it up. He walked out of the stadium with Rosenhaus during the biggest moment of the Cardinals history. It almost seems calculated.

He is/was our heart and soul. And he is one of the long tenured Cardinal. I really wanted him to be hugging and celebrating with his team mates and us fans...I still can't believe this...

What he's saying now is all spin, IMO. Like I said in another thread, his actions yesterday speak much louder.

Since he said he wanted out in the preseason I had hoped that fences could be mended and he would stay with the team. After yesterday, I don't think that's possible.

Seeing him bailing on the team and leaving with Rosenhaus on what should have been the happiest day of his football life makes me want to puke.

Boldin has become a "me" guy. At this point, I will be unhappy if Q isn't traded this offseason.

Rosenhaus is a total scumbag. Anquan wasn't this way before he was affiliated with Rosenhaus. Even still, it was ok once he got his new contract in 2005, but the jealously that Rosenhaus instilled in him over Larry's contract is NAUSEATING.

I was a huge Q fan, but now... Nope.

I have stayed away from these Q threads thus far cuz I just dont wanna spoil my happiness by thinking about it, but this is all I've got to say.

I wasn't thrilled by the sideline tantrum, but I was willing to write that off as "Q wants to play and that's good" I really wasn't going to let that bother me.

But...

IF,, (IF) it is indeed true that he left the field immediately, packed up his stuff and left the locker room without celebrating with his teammates? That's unacceptable and VERY disappointing. It speaks volumes about his priorities IF it is true.

Nevertheless, it should all be discussed and dealt with at a more appropriate time, like AFTER THE SUPERBOWL.

Hard to say that we didn't see warning signs.

Or that I'm totally shocked.

That does not lessen the disappointment however.

Thanks for helping us get through some dark days Anquan. Good luck on your next team.

For me the worst part was how Q postured as if he was about to open a can of whoop a$$ on the coach. Even for an FSU Seminole that's pretty dumb.

Ding ding ding... winner! It seems like this another step by step play from Drew in order to force the cards hand and have us trade Boldin.

I bet Drew told him to Anquan to wear a green shirt to the game and then start an argument with a coach so he would have an "excuse" (if you can call it that) to leave. Maybe I'm reading way to much into this, but that is my opinion.

That is the thing, Drew understands that the spotlight will NEVER be bright than it is now right before the Superbowl. This is an extremely calculated move from Drew, guaranteed.

I would laugh my ass off if Whis and Haley started Breaston in the Super Bowl.

Imagine if Q was inactive for the Super bowl, its almost crazy to think.. but Haley was the guy who called out TO in Dallas.. and now he doesn't have a Jerry Jones to deal with..

this is the single best post on the subject and sums up my thoughts exactly. No matter what Q did, it doesn't take away from the ridiculous elation I had yesterday and am still having today, nor does it take away from my appreciation for what he did during the dark days.

Can't wait to see what he's got in store for the Pittsburg LBers in his last game as a Cardinal! Dude's gonna be blowing people up trying to get that title.

It really just shakes years of admiration I've had for Q. I'm trying not to jump the gun and judge him, but seriously. He says he cares about this team but how do you not hang out with your teammates and celebrate winning the NFC Championship? Who does that?

It's not like he wasn't part of it, he's been here for years. I feel betrayed and sad man... I thought all this stuff with him was gonna work out.

Like Cheese said, i'm still totally ELATED about this team and what we're doing. I've waited my whole life for this but, as in life, there is always a little sour to go with the sweet I suppose.

Exactly. I'm not saying that what Q did was right. It wasn't. I don't think that he'll be on the team next year, but let's focus on frickin' winning the Super Bowl.
