"I didn't leave through a back door. I tried to get in and out as quickly as possible to beat the media," he said. "I didn't want the story line to be me and Todd getting into it."

Exact quote from Q. Seems feasable to me. Not just because I like him either. As far as being with his agent? Whoopty freaking doo.

this is the single best post on the subject and sums up my thoughts exactly. No matter what Q did, it doesn't take away from the ridiculous elation I had yesterday and am still having today, nor does it take away from my appreciation for what he did during the dark days.

Can't wait to see what he's got in store for the Pittsburg LBers in his last game as a Cardinal! Dude's gonna be blowing people up trying to get that title.

Exactly. I don't see why every is going crazy over this? Q's situation will be handled after the superbowl, until then he's gonna do everything he can in that game to help us win.

LMAO Why the hell not........Doucet's face is epic as well....looks like he just saw a ghost.

Boy if that isnt making something out of nothing I dunno what is. Doucet doesnt look like anyhting and you can barely even see hightowers face. It certainly isnt a look of shock.

You are right Shane. I remember when the D-backs won the World Series and Randy Johnson was already on his way home as the trophy was being presented. It happens all of the time during championship celebrations. This is just the media stirring the pot. Anquan Boldin is the ultimate team player and he is the kind of player that I think our we can all learn from. Yesterday's behavior was nothing out of the ordinary. Q was a team player for attempting to avoid media backlash. I mean, he would never do anything through the media to draw attention to himself, his agent, or his unhappiness. Not Q. He is the heart and soul.

Screw the pictures... Arguements happen all the time on sidelines... If that was all that happened, this would mean nothing. But instead, Q ran off the field like a school-aged adolescent. He left his team during the greatest moment of this franchise's history.
What happened on the sidelines will easily be forgotten. Q choosing to run away with his agent, rather than soak in the victory with his teammates will never be forgotten.
And the image in my mind, of Q's family sheepishly walking around the field, searching through all of the joy and mania, not knowing that their Anquan ran off with Rosenhaus will never leave me... How pathetic... How sad...

:lmao: Yeah, Hightower looks really engaged in the action on the field. I guess you see the picture of Hightower one way and you also buy Anquan's logic for getting the F outta dodge. You honestly believe that Anquan left the stadium embraced by the biggest dirtbag in pro sports during a post game celebration on the field to avoid the media making a huge deal about the arguement on the field? Seriously, you really buy that? Seriously. If that was his true reason, which we all know is not the case, than Boldin is probably the stupidest player alive because all he has done is created a media circus, which coincidently mimicks a perfectly scripted Rosenhaus tactic. If his behavior wasn't absurd, rediculous, immature, and embarassing, no one would be talking about it.

"Let it go" for the next two weeks.........if he makes the game winning catch in the Super Bowl I'll let it go forever. Players come and go. The bird is forever. I am more disappointed than anything else.

As I said, his own family were wondering aimlessly out on the field... At the time, I didn't think anything of it... Now, I am so embarrased for his family...

I've got one question:

What if before the season TO bitched and complained LOUDLY to the media about his contract and demanded to be traded and said he would never play for that team again and would never talk to it's coach again? And then later in the season in Week 2 before they played someone like... say... Miami, he basically said the same things... then with the Cowboys on the verge of going to the Super Bowl, he got taken out for a play and started just reaming Jason Garrett and then when the team won, he high-tailed it out of there, not celebrating with his teammates and left with Drew Rosenhouse. Do you really think y'all would be making excuses for him? Do yuou think that everyone on this board wouldn't be shredding him to pieces?

And before anyone brings up Q coming back in record time to play after getting his face broken... well, so did TO from a horrific broken leg which people thought he'd be out two months... and yet there he was in the Super Bowl.

I just watched the end of the game with that part again. You couldn't tell with TH because his helmet was on but Doucett sure did look uncomfortable. In the post game when ADub was tearing up saying it was pride that kept him in AZ I couldn't help but get pissed. For many years ADub was the D it must piss him off to see Q pull what he pulled yesterday I know it would me. It still doesn't change the fact that Q is one of my all time favorite Cardinals...yet.

I didnt know what was happening on the sideline, but I was pretty shocked and was complaining to my father during the game that Boldin was not in there. That being said, He acted like a baby...

I have a hard time saying this because he has been my favorite player, but he has allowed himself to become a a typical Rosenhaus side show...

do you have it DVR'd? go back and watch it, clearly hightower and quite frankly anyone within 10 feet are like wtf is going on with this clown....in my own words of course.
I agree. What is shown in those stills is someone having to hold Anquan back. Haley's in the middle of calling plays into Warner or talking to someone on the headset and he's having to fight off Boldin who's flipping out.

Scurrying out of the stadium before the confetti hit the ground, wearing a green shirt, with Rosenhaus arm in arm? Doesn't add up to a pretty picture. Dockett, James and I'm sure some other Cardinals are Rosenhaus clients and I haven't heard anything bout any of them skulking out of the stadium.

Q has probably burned some important bridges and if I was the GM, I'd eat his contract and let him rot on the bench from now until his contract runs out. Let's see what kind of contract offers he gets 2 years from now. A 30+ year old, TO-light. Maybe the Cowboys will go after Q, Chad, Burress and Shockey and we can all focus our dislike to one team.

I love people blaming Rosenhaus for this.

Uhh, guys, Boldin hired him, and is responsible for his own actions/decisions.

Rosenhaus is just doing his job, and if Boldin wasn't satisfied he'd have different representation.

Do you have HD tv? You can see tims eyes clear as day, hes staring at Q like wtf, then he looks away only to come back like 2 seconds later.

Perfect example. People also forget that TO wasn't always TO. There was the young up and coming receiver that caught the game winner vs. Green Bay in the playoffs and was crying and embracing Steve Young and became a fan favorite in SF. Then he evolved. It sucks....SUCKS that Boldin is now held in the same category as TO and 85. I thought we were somehow immune to that stuff. I just think back to all of the Cards that oured out their sweat and tears for the team and never had the chance to experience a championship like Marcel Shipp and we had a player literally walk out on the party. Unreal. I would expect that from Troy Hambrick or some scab but not Q.

So I guess it's a given that Q believes the Rosenhaus theory of any press is good press? Do anything necessary to focus the spotlight on himself when the team is winning without him?

I hope nothing but the worst for him if he tries to play the "respect" card. Fitz is better than you Boldin. Deal with it. He has better hands, big play ability and he stays healthy. That's what NFL team will pay for. Play 16 games for once and not demand your contract be re-done and then I'll respect you.

Where are you getting that from? That would be all over the media? Are you personal friends with Q's family and with your bino's recognized his family and saw them doing that? Or is it on tape?

Watch "Desert Distraction" on nfl.com/videos

Jim Mora and Terrel Davis provide a real good analysis of the situation

Essentially saying Boldin was out of line but this thing should be over with and should not have any grudges as it happens quite a bit on the side lines between players and coaches. I hope so but Boldin's situation is slightly different due to contract issues and his demands for trades.

BTW, Jim Mora says Cardinals have been the best team in the entire playoffs by beating three real good playoff teams!!! He also said it will not surprise him if Cardinals win the super bowl!!
