Let's face it, after Haley gets his head coaching gig and Warner retires (on top), we're going to re-commit to the running game and a monster tight end is going to better suit us anyway (as opposed to another #1 wr).
I still don't understand this line of thinking. The Cardinals are in the Super Bowl with what they've got. Does it make any sense at all for Whis to want to change what's been so successful?

you're right, but it's still not the point that angers most of us. it's leaving his teammates at a time when they should all be as close as they've ever been. that's just so damn troubling.

Yeah, I picked up on that :D

Ouchie and all for that matter.

Stop worrying about it. Stop lamenting over it. What is done is done. He didn't celebrate and it sucked. There are bigger things on the table right now.

The number 1, 100%, biggest concern we all should have is how is the Cardinals are going to perform in the Superbowl.

1. The team has stated throught many players, coaches, etc., etc. that this is a non-issue when it comes to distractions.

2. Anquan Boldin has made multiple statements, and actions that were "Not Cardinal friendy" and showed up for the next weeks game and play very hard for this team throughout the season.

3. Sounds like Anquan will "no comment" his way through media days and interviews.

4. I highly doubt that this situation is going to be a distraction, and that it will effect the teams play on Superbowl Sunday, or Boldin's effort. This past season is good proof that it will not.

And finally, we will all have all offseason to beat that heck out of this topic. The situation will be a non-issue till the Superbowl but it will make this offseason very interesting.

And on a final note: I understand that dissappoinment though. Boldin is my favorite player on the team as well. There is a lot of history with Boldin, and being the sole highlight of many season. It is hard to see the business end of things ruin the end of a good story.

We can save that question till the offseason.

Just remember two things:

1. The Cardinals can win without Boldin.

2. The Cardinals have been a MUCH better team in the playoffs because their offense is more balanced. Even your boy Warner has stated that on many occasions. So why not improve our running game.

Perhaps I read the original post in a way that wasn't intended but it made it sound to me like the Card's are going to be changing things to Whis' "real" offense. I think what we're seeing right now, with or without Boldin, is exactly what he wants to run.

Run just enough early to let the passing game work and then run a lot in the 2nd half or when a comfortable lead is established.

If he had a more trustworthy running game early, he'd run more early too. Our first drives he was working the run hard, and Edge was rolling. THAT is what he wants to do. Let the run open up the pass, then seal the deal with the run.

You have to admit, that's not the offense we ran for the majority of the season (save the first game of the year and the last regular season game).
