McDyess did not play much against the Nuggets, I was wondering why? Especially after Amare was out a lot with foul trouble early in the game, and Jake was not here.
Is it just because of his legs hurting or was there something said on the air about him. I missed parts of the game.

They said nothing. I was hoping to see him play more minutes as well. There was nothing said about why he was out. I think they will be trading him or Mike doesn't feel he should play the new guys to much yet and need to stick with the guys who have been there longer??? I hope we see some Amare, Dice, Zarko, Marion, and Barbosa line-ups.

I was a bit surprised they didn't use him, but perhaps he agrevated his injury during the hard practices over the past few days.

In the Blazer game, it looked like Mike decided to really go for the win and played his starters a lot:

Johnson 42 minutes
Barbosa 25 minutes
Marion 40 minutes
Stoudemire 35 minutes
Voskuhl 37 minutes

Eisley had 19 and everyone else was 15 or under.

Most of the time he was in the game he was limping around like he was hurting. I would guess he'll be on the IL next.

One of the Blazers dove for a loose ball and took out Dice's leg at the ankle and I think he really started limping after that.

Mcdyess was limping all the time he was in the game, even at the start before the collision.

I did not notice that the last game, although he may have been, and that may be why he did not play.

No doubt he will go on IL instead of Googs. It would be nice if his knees come around and quit hurting him so he can play and they can evaluate him to see if he can come back next year.

He would provide a veteran presence that this young team will need.

However, with the two picks and the guy in Europe coming over there may not be much room especially if they decide to keep Harvey. I would not blame them if they did he is looking good.

From what we've seen so far, I'd definitely keep Harvey before I'd keep McDyess. If McDyess is healthy, he could be the better player but that may never happen.

I agree with George, McDyess, Williams & Googs won't be on the team next year.

McDyess presents a classic "catch 22", if he returns to his old form, the Suns cannot afford him and if he doesn't they wouldn't want him.

Harvey may have more potential than anyone gives him credit for. He actually has some back to the basket offensive skills to go along with his rebounding and hustle.
