Funny how you didn't respond to mine Laker/Steeler fan. LOL.

Still can't get over that. I am sure you have some epic story on why that is. Like maybe you were the kid who tossed Mean Joe Green the coke??LMAO

Tell me do you consider TrophyTown LA or Pittsburgh?

How about those Yankees this year? Excited about that to? You coming here and talking trash to MD and calling him a bandwagoner is a disgrace.

Every team has bandwagonfans. MD doesn't happen to be one and from all I can tell YOU do seem to be one.

But I bet your going to tell me why your not and I'm pretty damn excited to hear it!

Well of course im a Laker fan............tis not a secret. My support for both squads go way back to the days (Lakers) of Chones, Magic, Nixon, Wilkes (the original Showtime) and my support for the Steelers go back during the days of J Gilliam Pre-Bradshaw era......So if im bandwagon, im an longtime rider. And i stay the course, thru thick and thin.........

But ill say this......and this will settle it for bandwagon: Care to guess how many Steeler bars there are in the Continental US ? I mean if youve got a directory of bonded fan hangouts, then it cant be too bandwagonish.

And please answer me again why is it the Cards needed an extension on ticket sales for the home playoff game vs Atlanta ? But when they get to the big NFCC game they sell out within minutes ...Bandwagon if ive ever seen..........and a quick recruitment of one if ive ever heard one.

Bandwagoners are *****. No self respect, sense of pride or stength/perserverence so any cute team can have them. Whether it's due to their "Daddy issues" or not is debatable.

The Steelers may have your heart right now, but the Cardinals are gonna have that @$$ next Sunday.

We'll see after the dust settles, now wont we ? Youre puttin up big talk my man........woofin with the best of em..........

And yeah........youre right ive seen many ***** (male and female alike) toting flags, Cards team paraphenalia the last couple weeks. And its all fresh but i can assure that after this loss, nothin will be said, heads will look the other way when they seem me comin cuz theyll know they talked a gang of crap that their teams behinds couldnt cash. Youll be in that group...in that number....ill be shocked if you manned up.

When the music plays, face up to the music.

So you answer me this one then...if they are so bandwagon, why have they sold out every game for the past three seasons?

Hmm, maybe that atlanta game was a combo of the economy and the way the Cards played down the stretch? Wow, you'd think smart stiller fans woulda thought of that.

The Steelers have something like a 25 year waiting list for season tix.

Other teams run ads for their fans to NOT sell their tix to Steeler fans when the Steelers play them on the road.

There's been no talk about blacked out games - preseason, post or otherwise in Pittsburgh for decades.

that's what I love about the "bandwaggon" stuff... other teams fans and even the media just completely ignore that we've sold out for 3 years in a row, starting in a year following a wretched 5-11 season... and then selling out again after another horrific 5-11 season. I've been there since the beginning, but no one understands the plight of cardinals fans who not only had to deal with heaping piles of crap on the field every week, but also had to sit in a heaping pile of crap on the surface of the sun every week as well.

even though we were still horrible, the moment we got a new stadium and people didn't have to worry about dying of heat-strokes or sitting on aluminum benches which served only to cook us faster, we've sold out every single game.

but that doesn't make for good copy so why write it?

I heard a good joke.

The University of Phoenix should have the naming rights to the Cards stadium since the stadium is like a degree from there. Shiny on the outside, empty on the inside.

that would be a good joke... if it made any sense, but considering they've sold out every single game in the stadium's existence, it's not. It really just makes you look like what you are... a troll.

enjoy being the football equivalent of the Atlanta Braves. Come Sunday, we'll have just as many titles as your underachievers in the last 20 years.

You know when that started? In the Mid 70's. I would argue that our fans (the true hardcore) have supported and sold out 3 years in a row for a team that has been one of the losingest organizations in pro sports. Your fans have sold out and been hardcores because they started loving football in the 70's and how tough was it to love the Steelers in the 70's? It's like cheering for GM and Wal-Mart. If you guys would have remained the sad sack franchise you were before Knoll you might be in the same boat as us. Just with worse weather.

Look at the join dates of the people you call band wagoners on this board. You see anyone with December 08? Probably not. The board started in 02 and 90% of us were fans LONG before then.

So why did we do it? Even before the new stadium 25K of the hardcores sat in 100 degree weather to watch a wretched (and like 08 Detroit wretched) football team - but why?

In the hope that we would at one point put it all togther and build a winning franchise that we are proud of and be able to say we had been there from the beginning.

That point comes next Sunday. Everything changes from this season on and it just becomes....easier.

Tell ya what, bring this back up if you ever go through a stretch like we had to endure from 99 to 07. And, I'm not even going to go farther back than that, but easily could. I guarantee teams won't be needing to run ads when the Steelers come to town anymore, and your season ticket waiting list will dwindle to nothing. After a decade of hard core failure all of your so-called real Steelers fans will show their true colors. And, a ton of them will go underground out of shame.

Jeez, I've seen it all now. A Steelers fan lecturing Cardinals fans on fanhood. It's like Grasshopper lecturing the Kung Fu master. Fanhood isn't proved in good times, it's proved in bad times. And you've had very little of that over the past 30 years.

I thought you were talking about the Cardinals, and trying to say that everyone is just bandwaggoning this Super Bowl run.

Or was that not your troll attempt? I'm not sure you are making much sense. You aren't yinzing all over yinzelf so it appears your head is spinning with all the passive aggressive trolling you are attempting. It's ok. We'll allow yinz back to celebrate our Cardinal Super Bowl win.

I'm disappointed that we have to hear this stuff. Steelers fans have had the Rooneys while the Cards fans have had the Bidwills. Steelers fans are working with largely 4 decades of success while Cards fans are working with largely failure for twice that many decades. Pittsburgh fans have spread around the country and kept their pride in the Steelers, while it's the Cardinals franchise that has moved around the country, alienating its former fans and settling in a city of transplants. Tell me, Steelers fan, if you moved to Arizona and the Steelers came to town, whose jersey would you be wearing on Sunday?

If there's a fan who switched allegiances to the Cardinals only becaus they're winning this year, fine, let 'em have it. But the Cards have traditionally been an easy target, and there's no pride in bashing a loyal fan.

That is what I love about this team. I can completely 100% agree with a UofA fan which does not usually happen but it does for the Cards.

Go Cardinals!!

The only thing I'm sick of hearing is "you haven't faced a defense like ours" in response to everything said about the Cards.

Other than that the Steelers fans have been pretty cool, I bet SteelcityMom is a milf :) .

Sold out every game ? Donald..........my man.....ive been to a few Cardinal football games and theres been several seats in the area i sat(Sec 124) that were empty......the Rams game last year, the Falcon game last year. I came into those Falcon tickets weeks before that contest and couldnt give those damn tickets away. So dont try and polish this up like its a magnificent parcel artifact. The Cards selling out every home game the last three years is just a bold faced lie.

The economy........right.....The economy is just as bad today as it was early Jan. Some how folks were able to suppress any fears of economic hardship after it was known theyd be hosting the NFCCG. And if theres this loyal following of Cards fans, id think they could muster up enough spirit and excitement to at least show the organization, the players and the rest of the league that they gave a damn about their team and its push for a world title. The need for a 2 day extension (for tix sales) to lift blackout ........... that doesnt look good at all. Especially from some clown stating the Steeler fans are mostly bandwagon. At least in Pitt, hell even Cleveland (when theyve made it) fans will show up in snow, freezing rain, or sleet to support their team. Bad economy or any other obstacle......

I Know you specifically had all but given up on this Cardinals team...................right before the postseason began.

Blah blah blah...Cards have no chance...blah blah blah...Cards fans suck...blah blah blah...Steelers will crush the Cards...blah blah blah...same old song and dance. Man, if you're going to troll, at least change it up every once in a while.

I lived in Pittsburgh for 3 years. I rooted for them against the Seahawks (obviously, right?). When the Steelers are doing well, they are great, diehard, spend their last dollar on the game, fans. When the Steelers have a bad year, a very large chunk of them lose all class.

For example, the first year I ws in Pittsburgh, Tommy Maddox blew some game. He had to pull his kids from school becaue they were being harassed, and people were driving buy and dumping trash in his front yard. No lie.

Then of course, there was the time that a Pittsburgh area teacher forced a student to sit ont he floor because he wore a Broncos jersey to class.

Im not denying there are good Steelers fans, but they need to admit that they have a problem with a pretty big chunk of their fanbase.

Why do the cards fans that argue with this guy keep getting banned while he is permitted to stick around and troll all week?
