I think it just comes down to the decision of whether he still wants to compete at the highest level of competition and whether the FO is willing to field the team to do so.

Is the FO in an uncapped year willing to keep the team (outside of Dansby) intact to go forward and compete at it's greatest capability or does it want to retool too much. Who it reworks and who they go after in FA may have something to do with how much Kurt wishes to play one more go. The chance to win it all, one more time.

How can he sit around and wait to see how our defense is going to change when he said that expects to make a decision in the next few weeks?

ridiculous. Are we going to start trying to read body language again? It was ridiculous when Mitch was trying to read and interpret Boldin's body language 2 years ago and it's ridiculous now. What you saw as "fear" someone else could see as calm confidence.

... and Mitch hasn't stopped projecting his thoughts and feelings on others...

It's not just you.. Every time Warner took a hard hit last year, and the camera's pan to the backup (as they always do) I saw someone with fear in his eye's, not the "Alright, time to go in and kick some ass" look that you hope to see.

Wow.. I never saw that.. I saw someone who had a cool confidence..
