I would love to see it happen, but have to wonder if its at all possible.
I attended his Q foundation kids football camp in 2004 or 2005. It was the summer he missed some of the previous season due to a knee injury. He had the camp at Glendale HS, and had about 20-30 of those kids from the surrounding neighborhood in it. He and the Packers #1 at the time were on the practice fields with their shirts off playing backyard football with these kids. If you were driving by, you would have thought nothing about it. I got invited there to talk about "being a winner" and making the right choices in life. I'm just some fireman, and Q wanted the kids to hear the message from other people besides an NFL WR. There was no fan fare, banners, media, or anything; just him spending an entire Saturday coordinating the entire event himself, with the help of a few guys in the league.
You guys that say Q is selfish, Q is a crybaby, Q puts himself in front of the team… You guys don't know ****. You know what the Cardinals marketing department wanted you to hear. The guy is highly, highly, highly respected throughout the league. Everybody on his teams have thought the world of him. How many guys have gone before him saying the some of the same things about the Cardinal organization? Forever this organization has sucked and was ran like a day hire company. IMO, he pretty much kept his mouth shut while letting his dissatisfaction be known. He played hard until the day he left; what more could you want?
I would love to see him be brought back a Cardinal, but I think there are many many parts to make that scenario a reality. I would welcome him back in a second.
