Seattle has been the bully of this division since I've been here. But now we're the bully. Don't pay attention to our record. You may win, but physically we are going to beat your ass. You go back and look at every game--fourth quarter with a second left when the chances of us winning are slim to none--and we are coming on full tilt. We don't care if you're downing the ball, we're lining up and we're coming. Every extra point a team has kicked against us, we are knocking the whole O-line. If you score on us, we are punishing. We are going to f-- you up, and that's our motto. The Cardinals have never had any identity like that. So now when we play against teams, they say, "Oh we really got to protect ourselves on this bulls-- extra point, they aren't taking a play off." That's laying the foundation for the type of team we are going to be. I promise you: By next year or the year after, we will be off the damn chain. Levi Jones on Cincinnati told me, "Next year you guys are going to be something to reckon with." Everybody says that. And the tables will most definitely turn. That's how the NFL works. It even works that way in college. Look who was good a few years ago: Miami, Florida State, Texas. Now look at who's dominating. You got Missouri, West Virginia, Kansas. Program that stick together will eventually knock the big dogs off. Beacuse it builds hunger. And when we rise to the top, I want to look down on everybody like, Yeah, remember three years ago when you told us we ain't going to be s--? Well now we're 14-2 and we've got a first-round bye.

I'm not hating on Darnell. I said multiple times that I like the player.

But, as I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing from the Pats, well done is better than well said. I'm sure that the Panthers and 49ers and Falcons and the other teams who put up season-best numbers against the Cards probably were laughing at Darnell's quote.

Dockett went 7 straight games without a sack after a torrid start to the season. Along with that he collected numerous stupid penalties that kept drive alive. I'm all for Dockett's passion for the game, but he needs to be productive all season long and not hurt the team while he's doing it.

Keep his mouth shut? I say bring it on. We need a vocal leader on defense. AW is more of a "by example" guy. But the team needs attitude if the next step is to be taken.The team all needs that same attitude. He didn't single out another team or player (Seattle was used as a reference point, nothing else) or guarantee wins or records. He simply said we are gonna play hard and even if we don't win, you'll feel us for the next week. Good for him.

I have no problem with that. Sure the language is a little salty, but it's refreshing and long over due to have a player proudly proclaim to be proud to be a Cardinal. Weigh this one outburst against all of the hundreds of stories and jokes that circulated through the league and the media year after year about playing us, or playing in AZ and I'll take it every time. He's a professional athlete with pride, and I see no problem in him wanting to defend what's his. How'd any of us like to be called a scrub day in and day out at our job? You'd be pretty p.o'd too. He feels how most of us (at least myself) feel after taking years and years of abuse.

I like Dockett, I'm sick of interviewers who one way or the other want our players to know that they think we suck no matter how subtle they do it. This is a contact sport, and I'm very happy a guy like Dockett is on the team and answers fire back with fire.

Like I said it amounts to a whole lot of nothing. His attitude is great. But until we start seeing regular playoff appearances all they are is words and nothing more. We have MANY a football player saying we are gonna right this ship over the years. They just didnt use the profanity to do it.
