I wore my Cardinals jacket to work today. Nobody is going to say crap to me about it. I can't stop....they know I have a troublesome addiction.

I can't believe it myself, but I think I'm going to actually buy MORE cardinals gear tomorrow when the 40% Rebook sale starts. I'm thinking about getting a Fransisco jersey.

So did I. I am hoping some hot girl on the street will feel sorry for me and let me take a nap on her bosom.

What a great way to meet chicks!!

I'll go to Scottsdale wearing my old, faded, 98 Playoffs TShirt. "oh that poor man....he hasn't cheered for a winner in 8 years now."

I've stashed mine at the very back of my closet.

Too embarrassed to wear around, especially in a city with a real NFL team (Seattle) ...

I don't wear my shirts that much anymore, I still wear my hat around...but in Tucson I'm pretty much alone. This city is obsessed with biking and golf, so the only other hats people wear around say Titleist. I hate Tucson....

Sports would be boring if the outcomes were always predictable.

My guess is you would feel different if the Cardinals were a perennial playoff team (or as close as you can get to that in this day and age).

honestly, i'll wear a t-shirt on a meaningless going to work out in the gym day. but last week i refused to wear my jersey to the bar. and when cheese showed up he didn't have his jersey either. the ridicule and pity at the bar during the raiders game was just more than i could bear. i have pride, and i pride myself with attaining and associating with success. the cards are just not meeting that standard. so while i can't leave 'em (man did LVCRDFREAK - whatever - explain that well), i don't have to go down burning with them.

on the upside, four hot ladies sat at our table on sunday and kept us otherwise entertained thereby softening the blow of the cowboys kicking the shiz outta us.

I did not wear Cardinals gear this last Sunday to the game and the only Cardinals-related attire I might wear the rest of the season will be a crudely drawn bird logo on the paper bag residing on my head.

I explained to my baffled friends that my support of the Cardinals is like people's (IMO) irrational support of religion.
I can't explain "why" - it just "is".
I'm a faith based fan...

Me too.

Don't let the team's lousy performance drag you down and turn you into fair weather fans who leave the stadium early or jump off the bandwagon during adversity.

Sports would be boring if the outcomes were always predictable. If you're upset about paying all that money on tickets, parking etc. only to be bummed out because the Cards aren't winning, it's a lot cheaper to invest in a Madden 2007 and setting the player ratings so that the Cardinals always win.

I'm sadder that fans are quitting on the Cards' than I am the losses themselves.

At least in my case.

It is not the fact that this team is losing that is making me think about quitting on this team. It is the fact that this team doesn't care about football, the fans, or the organization.

If they played as hard as they could at every game for 60 minutes then I would not be as angry. I would be "we suck" angry, but not "Our organization has quit on us" angry.

But you are right. "Sports would be boring if the outcomes were always predictable."

Unfortunately you can count on the Cardinals going out, putting forth no effort, and losing every week.

I just bought a new jersey last Sunday...after the game!

Additionally, however, my brother in San Antonio won the friendly bet, so while he's visiting at Christmas, I'll be wearing whatever Dallas Cowboys shirt he forces me to wear.
