Yes, but then again I always worry right before any Cardinals' playoff game. :D

regardless of today -- I always worry about games

that being said:

Is anyone really surprised? If there is one thing that is an absolute lock on this team is that when the stakes aren't high, this team just doesn't play well.

With Minny up big at the half, I seriously questioned if I should go to the game. I saw this coming 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

I heard that teams meeting for a 3rd time in one season: 12 wins 6 defeats
However, that stat applies to teams meeting twice in regular season; and hence division rivals; and then again in the playoffs, with one of the teams winning both regular season games.

The application of that stat in this instance is, well, non-applicable. :shades:

I am not too worried about the upcoming game. I am a little stressed about DRC, Q and CC. That is 3 play makers all busted up in a meaningless game.

I saw the game I expected to see and was not disappointed at all. I actually expected the score may be even worse once Matt started throwing the ball to the wrong team. But seriously with 3 INT's in the game and playing almost all back ups after the first QTR if all the Pack was able to muster was 33 points that makes me feel ok. The team looked so vanilla even with the starters and I believe that was by design. I watched some of the early tacking and it was a pretty slow and soft. They wanted to get the guys into the game and face off with the Pack to get a feel for thier speed etc. and that was all.

I respect the Packers as a team, they are no joke. But I am not worried about them running over our Cards. Our Cards show up when it matters and after that game they will be fired up to show what they could have done had they been able to.

BTW did they misprint the tickets that Packers fans got? I swear they were some cocky, trash talking clowns that seriously were talking about the win like they just won the Super Bowl. :mulli:

The injuries have me shaken. Losing 2 meaningless games to the Packers has me slightly concerned.

However this team seems to be able to turn in on when needed so I'm optomistic for the game Sunday.

I keep reading how the Packers showed their hand playing this way. Not even close, someone mentioned their blitz packages, they almost never blitzed, Green Bay played as vanilla as AZ did.
Slants, screens? We've been doing that all year.
There is no question they played more of their starters longer, but AZ kept alot of their starters in also.
Packers rested alot of their D-line during the game, they will have more push come next week. Their blitz packages will have to come from other game film, but you know Dom Capers will have some surprises never seen before.
Packer fans celebrated a win, not like it was a super bowl, that's what you pay to see, your team wins and when they do, you celebrate.
I said earlier you could expect the Packers to go for a win and I will say to you now...don't expect over-confidence from them, we lost to Tampa Bay, every player will be going 100%.
I said before also, as a fan, I still think the Cards are our biggest fear, we KNOW they can play. After Philly's fade to the 'Boys, I don't worry about them too much now. This next weekend is our Super Bowl, forgive me if I celebrate if we win.
Good luck people, I sincerely hope your players are all healthy, it's the last thing I can hope for, no excuses.
