Why can't they revoke some of those broker tickets (especially the out of town ones) and offer them to people on the waiting list?

Ok, wanted to be selfish and wait until I was sure I got myself taken care of, which is done now...

I have 2 seats now (well, 4 really but two are for my best friend) and currently have 2 additional seats on the wait list to make sure my 2 year old and 3 month old are all locked up for the future. I got an email a week or so ago saying they were making playoff tickets available for the wait list (1 seat for playoffs for every 1 seat on the wait list). This was made available today at 10:00 AM MST. I called the number for an hour straight before actually getting through. While calling, I emailed them and they said everyone was calling at once when the window opened and they had 20+ people taking calls and couldn't keep up. I figure if they have 20+ people taking calls and it takes me an hour to get through, the number of people on the wait list must be pretty large right now, especially given the team's success.

And, if my suspicions are correct, I wouldn't be surprised to see some decent price increases next year.

Any of you by chance see the Steelers the last time they played in Lambeau Field that place was loaded and I do mean loaded with Steeler fans waving their terrible towels and they were loud.... It happens in Lambeau freaking field to a stunning degree if the right team comes in... Spare me the were the laughing stock crap etc etc...

This is why our fans get bashed. We have a bunch of people selling tickets to what will probably be the biggest regular season game of the year that will likely determine whether we get the 2 seed or not.

I don't give a crap about something that happens every blue moon in another city like it seemingly happens at least once, if not multiple times a season here. And I'm pretty sure that ANY Packer v. Steelers game wasn't going to be a deciding game for playoff purposes like this is going to be.

my Cards Agenda? If that means I want the Cards to win and have everything they need that can help them do that, well, then, yes.

And some games are bigger then others and you know it Shane. Don't play that garbage with me. Did I complain about the Vikings game? No, because even with a decent Vikes crowd, I didn't think the team would need every advantage it could have to win. But the Packers are MUCH better then the Vikings and much more dangerous and that game could be a massive game people are trying to get rich off it rather then support the team.

I'd be more pissed that Cards fans don't pay $500 for tickets. Economics rule, and paying for your entire season tickets with one game is hard to complain about. The PROBLEM, as I see it, is not that season ticket holders might sell their tickets, but that there isn't a demand from local cards fans to BUY those tickets from them as soon as they hit the open market.

We have more than 60K fans here in the Valley. I guess there are only 40K "real fans" since they buy tickets and everyone else watches on TV.

In my opinion, having a venue that is marquee to home and away fans is much more valuable to this city and stadium and the Cardinals overall than just having a bunch of homers. We're never going to be that city, instead we're a city that is a marquee venue for people all over the country. There's a reason we've already hosted a couple SB's and a pro-bowl game, and it isn't because of our awesome fan base.

There's a reason the roof was open in our prime time games, and that too has nothing to do with our fan base or home field advantage, it's because it's a venue Michael B wants to show off, as he should. It's not just his stadium, it's the entire city.

We should be proud people want to come here instead of whining about the noise being 1 decibel less. If that's going to cause us to lose games then I don't know what to tell people, quite honestly.

(and for what it's worth, I know you're not holier than thou, as most on here aren't, I just think it's an argument that isn't consequential when you look at what we gain vs what we're supposedly losing)

Totally agree that our fan base is weak, but this is a new era, and AZ is a destination and I think we can convert some of those fans to AZ fans. They're not all Vikes fans or Packers fans, some of them are just visiting away from the snow and are football fans. We're a football destination, and to me that's more important than being a Cardinals destination. Funnel that money to AZ and it's all good, I don't see the issue. This isn't 1950 when travel was more arduous.

We have much more potential going forward to pick up fans than any other team I can think of to be honest.

I don't even necessarily disagree with you Cheese, maybe we're just coming at it from different angles. HFA is much bigger in the NFL than in other sports like Basketball, I still believe that. I just think long-term it's more a benefit than a detriment. I'm also not sure the opposing team invasion is as bad as is made out to be, and perhaps I'm wrong on that, it's been a couple years since I've gone to a game.

(Edit: and I'm not sure the Packers game will be that close to be honest)

wait, so now they're selling all these games? You're just making crap up Shane. And even if that's happened twice in a billion years, it's the exception to the rule, as opposed to our stadium whenever the Pack, Bears, Steelers, Seahawks or Vikings... or ANY major fanbase comes in and routinely buys up thousands of tickets.

and yeah, considering the Pack not only have sold out their stadium forever AND travel to make a difference on the road (which our fans have done... what, ONCE in St Louis this year for their entire history), yeah, they're better then us. I don't know how you can even make an argument there. Next time you see 10-15,000 Cardinals fans in GB, you let me know.
