UCLA could lose their top-4 scorers. So there's that...

Oregon could lose Brooks to the draft plus Boucher/Ennis will be done. I'd still give Oregon the early edge unless there's some surprising returnees to AZ/UCLA.

Lonzo and Bryce are 100% gone. I Ham actually COULD be back he just has to petition to get the year back they took when he left UTEP but I think he's gone. My guess is Ike goes. Holiday should come back. Welsh said last night undecided but that's before Alford said he was staying, i think Welsh stays. it's early but leaf is leaning to come back and play 1 year with Hands allegedly.

Too early for them all.

Man... his teams consistently have better jimmy's and joe's than their opponents they've lost to in the tourney including last night's game. Arguing otherwise feels a little homerific... especially considering the praise he always gets for being s master recruiter.

Can't have it both ways.
and they went 32-5. Sometimes on any given day the better team just doesn't win.

That's happened too many times to a coach people believe is elite... especially one whos never gotten to a Final 4.

Good hire for Indiana. I think they should've waited to see about Chris Mack though.

The real loser is Ohio St which was supposedly Archie's dream job.

Allegedly some NBA scouts have him end of 1st round on sheer athletic ability. I think if true he goes because if Welsh comes back he won't start.

FWIW I've also seen some talk Comanche leaves Arizona if Ayton actually plays, I assume transfer since he's not NBA ready yet but same idea, doesn't want to be a backup again. My guess is Comanche stays and Ike leaves. the interesting one is Leaf, his dad said if he's after 21 he will probably stay and it looks likely that may happen and he stays.

UCLA will have an awesome frontcourt of those guys come back. Hands and Wilkes probably both starting as well.

I think Comanche staying is a must. I want Arizona to transition from a soft front court to an athletic defensive oriented one. Chance at center and Ayton at the four. Seems like both of them can shoot a little bit too.

I don't get it, couldn't they both be in the starting line up? I can see Chance transferring if UA can land McCoy but not sure what UA's chances with McCoy are at this point.

Depends on Ristic I assume. Also depends on if Ayton plays the 4 or the 5, he seems to think he's a 4 so if Ristic is back, he's the 5 and Comanche is a backup. If he starts obviously he's not going anywhere.

No one is counting on McCoy coming to UofA. And I highly doubt Chance transfers. Only situation I can see that is if it landed Duke transfer Chase Jeter.

Even if UA lands Jeter (no indication UA is in the running), he would have to sit out next year so Chance wouldn't have to worry about that.

Chase wants to go west and Arizona is one of the schools that made his early list, per his father. Arizona was in his top 5 before he committed to Duke. The 2018 center class is pretty bleak, so I can see Miller going hard after him, again.

Took Altman 28 seasons to break the seal. Also, Calhoun was 56 when he made his first F4.

Brain farting here... whos Altman?

And Calhoun had to build a program from scratch. Can't say the same for Miller, IMO.

Dana Altman - Oregon

Miller took over a program that was swirling the drain and a year away from irrelevancy. Even the class coming in was crap until Miller nabbed Hill and D-Will upon being hired. In two seasons, it was in the Elite 8.

Arizona was in a scary place around that time. Livengood almost hired Tim Floyd and nearly blew it with Miller. Now that two coaches have had success here they'll never have a problem getting another up and comer like Mack or Holtmann IMO. As long as the new AD doesn't butcher the situation of course.

But jeter has to sit a year so why would Chance transfer over that?

It was a few months ago I heard he was considering leaving so he may have changed his mind since then.

Josh Gershon is saying he expects Leaf to go pro, that he's doing what many kids do right now thinking college is pretty fun, but in a few days the financial realities will set in and he'll declare, probably without an agent, find out he's a first rounder and then hire an agent, which makes sense. He also seems to think Trier is gone even if not in the first round, the experience this past year being suspended etc just wants to turn pro.

FWIW USC sites think he's going to SC to team up again with Thornton. UCLA will go after him depending on scholarships, right now they don't have one to give. We've been told he's not interested in Gonzaga so it's likely UCLA, Arizona, USC and maybe Oregon for Jeter.

Gershon is posting UA info on BRO? Sounds like he and Sheer have differing views on Trier.

Makes sense Leaf going as long as he's a 1st rd pick. His efficiency numbers were off the charts and had excellent repoir with Lonzo. Both their dads are hands-on eh?

Actually I read it again it wasn't Gershon it was a UA fan who posts on BRO that said Trier is gone regardless.

Gershon said Leaf is expected to go pro and Ike has 2 teams who've told him they will pick him in the first round if he lasts to their pick. I thought the NBA made a rule against such promises but that's what he implied.
