Clearly, this is the worst team in franchise history and that is REALLY saying something.

How about 1-15? Cause that's where it's going...and at this point I'd rather see 1-15 than 6-9.
At 1-15 you can get a top draft pick that will turn into 2 first round picks and more....and a good GM could turn those 2 plus picks into 3-4 first round picks if done right.

Wrong. 1992 Phoenix Cardinals started 1-7 before going to a glorious comeback to finish 4-14 under Joey Bugel.

But your point is taken. The Cardinales are more prone to collapse in the last 2/3rds of a season as opposed to the first 1/3. The 2012 team under Wisenhunt started 4-0, until they won 1 game the rest of the season, and got to suffer a 58-0 ass kicking by the Seahawks.

If you look at the team records over time, going all the way back to Chicago, the team practices mediocrity. Billy Bowtie was the Donald Sterling of the NFL. Except Sterling had many other problems of his own creation.

Yes you can. Especially if you already have your QBOTF which we do.

Oops, somehow I missed this as I was checking the record books.

It looks like the 92’ Cards started 1-6 then won there next two games to reach 3-6 before finally finishing 4-12.

So a loss this Thursday ties the worst start for this Arizona team.

I think I accidentally calculated a bye week as a loss for the team. :D

That '92 team was led by OC Fritz Shurmur, whose nephew is now stinking up the G-men. :D :D

Even funnier, the debacle of the 2000 Cards under Vinny Tobin featured Mark Trestman as OC, and Larry Marmie as DC. ZOMG! :D :D :D

it's the "good GM" part that's tricky here

But the 1997 Arizona Cardinals startd: 1-7 going 4-12 that season.

And the worst season was the 2006 season ... don't know how anyone can forget that season start, 1-8 before things got better and we finished 5-11 a season were we lost freaking 5 games by one score or less most of the time in striking range but we couldn't put the fork in it to kill them.

"The Bears are who we thought they were! That’s why we took the damn field! Now, if you want to crown them, then crown their ass! But they are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!"

Gosh guys ... HISTORY!

Bidwill and Keim know as well as we do what it tells about a coach if you start that bad, they withnessed it both back then.

Fine. I missed a few seasons. It ain't that difficult. Sorry to irritate you. It's klinda like walking around Pinetop and someone keeps telling you, "No! Not that pine tree...THAT pine tree." :D

BTW, following on your post, seems the NFL Live crew on ESPN started a new joke about "we let them off the hook," including a pic of Denny Green (RIP big guy).

Yeah we have. Started 1-6 in the 2011 season and finished the year 8-8. That finish saved Whiz's job for one more season. Unfortunately for Wilks, this team ain't getting anywhere close to 8-8.

My facts are way off lol. I lived through that 2006 season and have clearly wiped it from the memory bank. I think 5 wins could be possible if they ditch McCoy.
