Truth be told, Murray has played very well in most games, mediocre in a few, and poorly in a couple. You just want to magnify the COUPLE as evidence that he has reached some sort of ceiling??? Obviously, Murray has ALREADY proven you wrong.I keep hearing people say we have our franchise QB yet in 3 seasons his progress has been incremental at best and he has yet to put together a full season of quality QB play. In my mind that doesn't make a QB franchise worthy. We have a QB who has played well in stretches and mediocre to poor in others. When things go well Murray can play exceptionally, however when things go South he hasn't shown the ability to put the team on his back and will them to a win. To me franchise QBs make other players around them better and I have seen no signs of Murray having this ability.
I have said this before and I'll say it again until Murray proves me wrong but I believe Murray has a low ceiling and we will not see much more improvement from him going forward. I think what we have seen is pretty much what Murray has to offer.

Overview
Productive quarterback who became a dual-threat playmaker against Ivy League competition. Perry has average size and arm strength but below-average mechanics and consistency as a passer. He doesn't value the football enough as a decision-maker and lacks a desired level of ball placement. His toughness and talent as a runner create attention, as teams might ask Perry to add a few more pounds in order to see if he can become a valuable Swiss Army Knife who's able to help at a variety of positions, including special teams.
If drafted at all, Oladokun is expected to be a Day 3 prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft. Someone with his skill set could be a project a team like the Steelers might be willing to take on. For instance, with Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins all under contract for 2022, adding a late round pick for a player like Oladokun would be a low risk, high return type of deal.
What do you think about Okadokun as a potential prospect? Let us know in the comment section below, and be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the black and gold as they prepare for the rest of free agency and the NFL Draft.
Edmonds, Peters, even Phillips snaps need to be replaced. This is not true. We already had the replacements on the roster for a bunch of the players we lost. This is how it should work.
Collins replaces Hicks
Moore replaces Kirk
Hernandez replaces Garcia
Gladney replaces Alford
The only unreplaced talent we have lost is an over the hill Chandler Jones and AJ Green that apparently most didn't like anyway.
Both these holes we can fill in the draft or look for trade opportunities down the line.

Steelers meet with lesser known quarterback prospect from South Dakota State
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t just looking at the big name quarterbacks, but also this lesser known quarterback from South Dakota State.www.behindthesteelcurtain.com
This is accurate except it doesn’t account for who fills moore’s role last year as he fills kirks unless you believe Moore is good enough to solely generate 130 catches for 1400 yards and 6 TDs. Also haven’t replaced chase’s 900 yards. This is not true. We already had the replacements on the roster for a bunch of the players we lost. This is how it should work.

I never mentioned Cincinnati, why would you bring them up?Not even going to entertain this past this comment and question;
Preface - YES he has TONS to improve on.
If Kyler had Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon and CJ O (who is prob as good if not better than Ertz at this point)… how good of a season would we of had?
Showing the team has done very little in 3 years to build around Kyler in comparison to other young franchise QBs.I never mentioned Cincinnati, why would you bring them up?
Pretty much.Wasting a year of Kyler Murray's rookie contract.
So in other words you want everyone that doesn't toe the Cards party line or follow your sunshine and daisies propaganda to just shut up and not post anything on the board. What a boring place that would make this with pretty much no real football talk. Good luck. It’s April 1st & everyone is stressed out over what our roster looks like. There’s plenty of free agency left, there will be trade opportunities, and the draft is a month away. Can the negativity on this board please wait until the season starts before everyone loses their minds. The Cardinals were arguably the best team in football last year until injuries decimated us. Don’t be surprised if we’re just as good this year when healthy. As is with EVERY team, how many injuries do we incur & to who. And will we have enough depth to overcome them? Time will tell, my God, it’s painful reading the negativity 5 months before the season even starts. As someone who’s been around a long time, one thing is certain. Those that spend the most during FA, are the ones drafting first the following season.
We have 4-5 extreme pollyannas on this board and every once in a while they decide to whine about people who don't share their opinion. They also like to flat-out lie about other posters with "hot takes" about things like KM and claiming people are happy with losing or can't handle being wrong when we win. They need to get over it.We have 4-5 extreme whiners on this board & they come to each other’s rescue at all times. They didn’t get their way when we drafted Murray, so they live to criticize him at every opportunity. Murray has had an overall tremendous start to his short career & we still have these negative Nancy’s speak of him as if he was Ryan Leaf. Like ANY young QB, he has to continue to work his craft. But, we DEFINITELY have our franchise QB & some people on this board need to get over it.
So the net results is the team is no better than it was last season.
your legit question: even if he replaces Kirk's production, who replaces his? A big ? for the team right now
And how many times are opponents going to miss chip shot FGs against us to hand us victory? And how many runs are we going to go on like we did last season. You hold up an improbably 11-win season like it's a given, THEN you're fine with a reduction in talent an more holes than we had before, and you somehow seem to think we're going to sustain what was likely not sustainable in the first place. That's beyond optimistic.No. These replacements can be better.
But even if we aren't better that's fine. We were very good. We failed due to injuries and poor depth.
So Nuk and RM are basically going to carry the entire WR corps. Okay, suuure. Oh, but we got Ertz and JC back on huge deals, so we're all set with weapons. We don't need another starting WR or an depth on offense to help the QB on the cheap rookie contract. Suuure.Nuk replaces it. Nuk had less than 600 yards last year.
