Going to be a fun week.

Hopefully we hear about Robinson today.
Everyone should be healthy.
Can we win 5 in a row?
Take a commanding lead in the division.
We are a 1pt dog right now so basically a pickem.

We should be able to run on the Chickens and their offense likes to pass.
Unfortunately, I don’t see any way we see Robinson yet. Under JG, players have to get 2 weeks of practice in before they see game action. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see Robinson until we return home in week 14. MOJG just do not rush players back.

Yeah it felt like an eternity for K1 to debut last year.

Love Kyler, but he has to prove those late season collapses weren’t just on Kliff. Him nor the rest of the players who played under Kliff can’t lay an egg here.
Actually, I think he needs to prove those late season collapses were 100% due to Kliff...and that now he can go out and win some games down the stretch.

Yeah even if he does practice it will take a while for him to get into game shape. He hasn't played since August and really hasn't seen any game time at all.

this will be another data point in my "do i trust this coaching staff and team" journey

years past: big road game after a bye week? almost a guarantee of a sloppy, lackluster effort where they lose by 3 scores

nobody can guarantee a win, but I sure expect a focused, quality effort that comes down to the end
Kliff beat the Bears 33-22 on the road after the bye in 2021.
Wilks lost by 12 on the road to KC after the bye with Rosen starting, taking five sacks, and throwing 2 INTs.

This team's actual history is bad enough without having to pull nonsense from thin air.

And we could be tied for first with a loss

Don't count the chickens before they hatch

Yes, I'm old school

The only time to rest on your laurels is when you are holding up the trophy

And then only for a bit until you go back to work

At no time before
You know what? You go ahead and rest on your laurels. Count your chickens before they are hatched. All you are doing is posting on a message board. It's okay to dream.

Totally agree. We’re seeing the late season fade follows Kliff everywhere. Rubber meets the road for Kyler to prove different down the stretch,

I’m excited, and even somewhat hopeful to see if he can rise to the task.

These are the records for the last 7 games from 2019 (KK became head coach) to 2023 (JG became head coach):
Bye weeks have not been taken into consideration.

YearRecord (W-L)
2019L-L-L-L-W-W-L (2-5)
2020L-L-L-W-W-L-L (2-5)
2021W-W-L-L-L-W-L (3-4)
2022L-L-L-L-L-L-L (0-7)
2023L-L-W-L-L-W-L (2-5)
2024???

JG and company probably \get a pass due it being year 1 of their regime, plus getting Murray back from injury and implementing a new scheme. 2024? Let's hope it's better.

2nd half season fades were a thing for Kliffy at Texas Tech too... big time. To the point it got his sorry ass fired from his own alma mater.

Texas Tech:
'13: lost 5 of 6
'14: lost 4 of 6
'15: lost 4 of 6
'16: lost 6 of 8
'17: lost 6 of 8
'18: lost 5 of 5
