I sat next to Tommy years ago at a Sun's game. Great guy.He probably needed a transfusion from bleeding Dodger Blue.
I hope it wasn't Tommy.

My first reaction was that it was Avila's fault for not running. But, at Steve pointed out, he had gone back to 1B to tag up in case the drive to LF was caught.
And there's not much Marrero could have done. He made a big turn at 1B and barely passed Avila.
'Strange play. And only one camera angle by both the D-backs and Dodgers. But, as Steve said, the replay office in N.Y. (actually Secaucus, N.J.) had a second view from overhead.
Yup, you can't pass a runner on the bases under any circumstances. So it was a homer but called off because of the base running? Never heard of that.
I use reddit to find streamsIs there an online stream to watch the Dbacks? Games in Albq are blocked out, Fox Sports AZ is a premium channel. I got nuttin
Regarding the base running episode, an online article brought up a point I hadn't considered.
Our 1B coach, Dave McKay, is at fault for letting that happen. Dave is great working with our base stealers, but apparently he fumbled with base runners.
Well, we wiped out the Dodgers and guaranteed another series victory and a chance to sweep. So, all's well that ends well.
It's about mindset. A hot start helps set the winning mindset this team needs. Are there really big games in April? Nice start though. Stay healthy D-Backs.
