I don't like this for at least two reasons:

1) Never tell draftee's your plans because word will get out.

2) I really really want us to trade down at the top of the 2nd for more picks.

Harry leaked this because he mentioned wanting to be a 1st round pick and the teams interested in him pick in the 20's so he put the fear in them that they will not get him in Round 2 if ARZ keeps the #33 pick, so they either take him in Round 1 or will need to trade up to #33. Usually agent's leak this info, Harry used the local media to do his bidding, smart.

just wondering because why should his word mean any more than any other talking head? Not trying to be snarky or anything just seriously wondered if he just said unnamed source said so or rumor he is hearing?

If he hits it, he will take the credit. If he misses no one will remember.

I do believe there is a chance the Cardinals draft Murray and keep Rosen.

Peter Schrager said the same about keep Rosen.

I think if the Cardinals are high on Murray but still believe Rosen has a chance, I think this is the safe move.

If the Cardinals are not being offered much in trade for Rosen, it makes the decision easier.

Also Rosen is mostly paid for.

Keeping both is such a bad idea. You’d have the Rosen guys that developed a relationship with him last year and you’d have the coaching staff that drafted a guy #1 overall. The guy drafted #1 overall is going to start, once he has some bad games how long before the locker room starts chirping? That isn’t fair to either player or the rookie head coach.

Drafting Murray means you must trade Rosen which means we will get hosed in any deal.

Who? Kirk is really good friends with Murray. Hes also friends with Rosen, but when interviewed it seemed like he would love to play with Murray.

They talked about it on the radio the other day, Rosen has organized workouts with other players on the team. The team genuinely likes him, I don’t take what they are saying as fluff either, there’d be no reason for that.

I think that's a possibility. Imo, they are banking on that 10 to 20 range in the first..don't be surprised to hear something in that range for Rosen. Just my gut feeling.

The Cardinals shouldn't give Rosen away. His salary is minimal next season and there would be a sizeable dead money hit.

If you think Rosen is worth a number one and you think you can get that eventually with so many holes on your team... what the hell are you doing thinking about drafting a QB again

I prefer to keep Rosen even if the Cardinals draft Murray.

If the Cardinals feel they must trade him... which I disagree.... get something significant for him.

I guess I'm inclined to ask what the you are thinking. Thought you had the Cardinals picking Murray.

Because I know what I am thinking but I am not picking and the Cardinals are

I've been leaning for the Cardinals to trade down for quite awhile now if they get a good offer.

It seems many Rosen supporters put a small trade value on him.

Sometimes I think I like Rosen more than the Rosen supporters.

Now just how in the hell could this work? This has disaster written all over it but knowing the Cards history I really would not be surprised

Knowing the Cardinals history, the SOC wouldnt draft Murray.

If they draft Murray, this is a bold move.

Rich Eisen‏Verified account @richeisen

A well-respected NFL individual in the know just gave me this Top 10 night-before best guess:
Quinnen Williams, AZ
Bosa, SF
Oliver NYJ
Kyler Murray, OAK
Devin White, TB
Haskins, NYG
Hockenson, JAX
Josh Allen, DET
Christian Wilkins, ATL
Devin Bush, DEN

See you in the mentions.
I do think that Q makes the most sense, given our roster construction, and the depth in the draft. Bosa's the best player available to me, but it's fine, both will be awesome.

I hope this is right.

I still don't understand the "Cardinals aren't bold" idea. This team has taken a lot of risks. So many posters seem to have different ideas of what constitutes bold.
