The Cardinal’s running back proved this season that he was capable of maintaining his level of play even without Andrew Luck at QB. While he isn't exceptional in any one facet of the game, he is technically sound, and well rounded. Taylor is possibly the safest back in this class due to his ability to not only pass protect, but to catch the football, which will make him invaluable on third downs.
Good at pass protection is a huge key. Good pick

ESPN seems to love him. McShay says toughest player in draft. Kiper says most underrated player in conference. Quick feet bad 40 time.

Bleh pick. Bunch of guys I wouldve preferred over Taylor.

Our first 4 picks solidified this as a great draft, so this doesnt really matter.

Other than the Tyrann Mathieu pick the coverage for the Cardinals on NFL Network has been non-existent.

Taylor while not flashy is a very solid football player - great pick in 5th round!

They have Les Miles on who is a thrill a minute to listen to. Correct barely anything on Cardinals. ESPN much better. Spent alot of time on the Taylor pick.

Great pick. We didn't have a true short-yardage guy, and Stepfan can do that for us. He's a solid compliment to the rest of our RB stable. Let's spend a sixth on Matt Scott, and then a defensive lineman and the fastest WR we can find and call it a day.

Not a huge fan of the Taylor pick. This offense needs more speed, and Taylor doesn't add much on that end. He does seem to be durable, though. That will be a welcome change.

Looks like we like to have pulling guards plowing the road for power backs.

Fourth quarter and we have the lead...well, we have some improvement on the interior line and have a durable power back...I like it :)

Cards getting some love from ESPN right now.

They all agree that NFC west is strongest. 3 teams to the playoffs?

That is almost impossible. NFC West holding both wild card spots? No way.

We are still a 5 win team.

So we received a 6th rd pick from Cleveland. We now have 3 6th rounders?

I don't know. That's what NFLN said, but haven't seen or heard any follow up.

It makes sense with Hoyer being dangled out. But haven't heard anything besides that blurb.
