Tough draw for ASU in the NIT....

Start by hosting Detroit, Then have to travel to Baylor, and if they can pull out a win @Baylor, have to travel to Rupp Arena to face Kentucky..

As stacked of a bracket that can be for the NIT...

Brutal Brutal road...

Maryland in contrast is a #2 seed: Their road to New York:

Host Niagara
Host winner of Denver/Ohio
Travel to Alabama/Host Stanford

Very different roads...

In the end, if ASU wins this thing they will have EARNED it..

Don't like their chances though...

Because of a scheduling conflict, Kentucky had to play it's first round game on the road against Robert Morris..

Considering it was such unique circumstances the atmosphere was electric and RMU knocked off Kentucky 59-57..

An obvious break for ASU... If this same game is played of Rupp Arena this is a 15-20 point game... but it wasn't and RMU pulls it off!

Well... ASU is handling business against Detroit tonight up 19 at half... ofcourse with this team anything can happen and they very well could still lose this game, but at the moment it looks good...

Baylor on the other hand ASU's next opponent... put up 112 today...

I am going to repeat that number 112 and won 46....

That might have been the ugliest high scoring game I've ever seen. Almost 70 FT attempts combined. Refs were pretty bad on both sides.

Too bad the season's over. I would have liked to see Felix back at Wells Fargo for one more game. We're going to miss him more than most people realize.
