it's been nice for a week to fantasize about the Devils being in the playoffs, but reality is this isn't one of the best teams in the country. Even if they get to the PAC-12 Title game, they'll get smoked by Oregon.

It was a pipe dream. This team just doesn't stack up the best of the best. Even the Notre Dame win lost its luster after a week.

Great game by Oregon State. They outcoached us in the game plan and the adjustments, outplayed us in their running game and in their quarterback play (Mannion has a bright future ahead of him), and really played with a lot more enthusiasm and obviously wanted this game more than our guys.

ASU clearly wasn't ready for prime time and wasn't destined for the playoff. There are obviously much more deserving teams.

We totally could have won this game. Even with those big OSU runs in the first half. We started to dominate in the first half. Strong dropped a TD pass. We missed a field goal. Lost our leading tackler Simone to an injury in the first half. Strong got injured. Coulda woulda shoulda. We came out with no fire at all in the 2nd half. Oh well. Hopefully we'll finish the season strong.

This was the game where, given how it played out, a #6 team needed its QB to take over and win the game in the 4th quarter. However, Kelly was beyond awful. He was horrendous. As I have always said, he is just good enough to keep a team in contention. But he is nowhere talented enough to win a Pac 12, or even make a Pac 12 championship game competitive....
He's had a nice college run, but he should not have been out on the field last night. If Graham really wanted to give the team a legit chance, Bercovici should've been playing.
