No position is safe.
While watching yesterday, Graham's body langauge said something was wrong.

I thought he was axed when I say Zastidil holding on XP's. I think its a mistake on downing punts inside the 20...but we'll see.

pestock and womack? so much for the flurry of FA we signed huh?

Blown away by the graham thing, I thought he was friggin awesome and could pin inside the 5 blindfolded. We always cut the punters I think are good and then field garbage like the snickers in his shoes guy./

Not last year - Percentage of punts that were in side the 20 ranked him 23 in the NFL. People are still thinking about this guy as if it were 2009 still IMO.

Everyone who had Ronald Talley in their final 53 prediction.. come on down!!!

I think he and Spach will go (once Dray is fully healthy) in favor of a RB and CB.

Just a hunch, but I could see Stewart being a super sub and getting some play outside early while mastering the playbook w/ Quan being inactive, and then 2 or 3 weeks in they slide Stewart into starting lineup at ILB, activate Quan, and let Walker go in favor of an OLB.

Glad Batiste made it, feel bad for Maui'a who had a good preseason, and like most surprised by the Graham cut.

you cant pin in the 20 when punting from your endzone because DA sucks.

I watched Graham do it again last night.

Another year, another two Whis draft picks wash out of the roster.

Of the 27 draft picks the Cardinals have made between 2007 and 2010, 14 will make the active roster in Week 1 of 2011. One pick from the 2007 draft remains on the roster, and he may be the worst starter on the offense. Only three players remain from the 2008 draft, and only one has started 16 games total in his career.

and like most surprised by the Graham cut.

Not sure why so many are surprised. all three Cards beat writters have been talking about this guy being on the bubble since the end of last year.

The guy has zero hang time and wasnt even close to be as prolific with his inside the 20 punts as he was in 2009. He was punting it inside the 20 50% of the time in 2009 then is dropped down to 30% last year. Combined with his horrid hang time, the writing should have been on the wall for everyone IMO.

Dray hurt his pectoral muscle last night and keeping both him and Spach is probably temporary until they confirm how serious Dray's injury is.

Also, you mentioned only 3 OLBs in a previous post -- it's actually 4 (Porter, Haggans, Schofield, and Acho) -- but I agree Stewart might get some reps outside.

3 OLB's? Maybe Bradley will play there some.

I seriously think that Bradley is going to have a much bigger role/impact than we've seen this preseason. I think we've been hiding him, considering all the talk that we've heard from the team about Bradley this offseason.

Did not play well last year, and had zero hang time on his punts this preseason.

Yeah I knew he was old when he signed I had no idea his leg would go that quickly. He was arguably the best punter in the league a couple of years ago.

Didn't Zastidil get like 1 punt in the two games since we signed him? I thought the lack of opportunities for the new guy meant it was going to stay Graham's job. Guess I assumed wrong.

Wrong. Which is evident of his touch backs also skyrocketing, going from 3 in 2009 to 9 in 2010. 3rd most in the NFL last year.

Seriously, people are still thinking of this guy in terms of 2009 still.

He's a good punter for a good offense, able to move the ball from the opponent's 45 to their 5 with regularity. But when you don't have a prolific offense and are going to be punting from behind the 50 with regularity, he's going to face some challenges.

Everyone of this years class made it...that's the first time in a long time.

Blaming just Whis for draft picks? What about the entire scouting dept and GM?

Think you could probably say this of @ least half the teams, if not more, in the league.

Everyone gets blamed. Things aren't going to change around here until we start hitting on our draft picks and keeping them around for more than four years.

I'm not counting Porter because he flat out sucks!!! Made 1 freaking play all preseason (pass defensed), gave little effort & offers absoultely zero for the Arizona Cardinals...we as fans will be begging for his exit no later than week 5. He's done...finished...washed up & I guarantee you the only reason he's here is because he's an ex-Stealer & we refuse to address the issue of an edge rusher early in the draft. So as i say, we have 3 OLB's as of today & maybe none :bang:
