The link won't load for some reason and keeps telling me cookies must be enabled, which they are. Tried 3 different browsers. Any ideas?

After a big assessment of Carson's picks and almost picks (and he did them pretty honestly IMO, not too homer), Kent Somers added this beautiful insight ...

So what do we make all of that?

First, it’s is hard for outsiders to know exactly what receivers should have been doing on all those plays. We’re not allowed in meetings. We don’t know all of the adjustments that are supposed to be made, or even the actual play that’s called. Arians knows better than all of us if his receivers could have done more to help Palmer early in that game.

I'd say you just don't throw the ball at another player from another team, it's never good, but I'm just an outsider. :D

So we just have an entire roster of stupid receivers and TE's who can't run routes or read defenses?

And I thought Carson was the only one (self admitted) on record as being still confused/learning the Arians playbook.

BA and Keim every week: "Im really impressed by Carsons ability to overcome adversity"

ADVERSITY HE WROUGHT HIMSELF!

That makes me sick hearing them praise him every week, that he can dig out of a hole that he friggin put us in.

if that's really the case, then Arians should point the finger at one person and one person only...himself. it's his jobs staff to teach the offense to it's players and if they ain't getting it, that's on him.

personally, I think it's all smoke...or hubris on Arians' part. He didn't draft a QB, didn't go after Alex Smith and hitched his wagon to a guy we got for a 7th round pick. Either he's not man enough to admit that decision might have been a mistake...can't admit it was a mistake at this point of the season...or we've got a real problem at HC. Time will tell, but continuing to bash anyone but Palmer is getting real old.

Still can't believe he laid the flea-flicker pick on Floyd also. Palmer throws that ball far enough and Floyd doesn't have to stop and come back to the ball to be a defender.

Wasn't Arians the one who also said they don't spend time doing pre-game warm ups?

Cant help but think that's contributed to the rash of hammy strains

All the hate for Palmer and I am thinking about getting a Palmer jersey.

I don't hate Palmer. I really want to see him succeed, because if he does then so do the Cardinals. It's just disappointing thus far with all the mistakes and how no one is taking ownership for why this offense is so out of sync. He was brought in to be a leader and a veteran presence and he has yet to show it

I am finding this hard to believe. Got a link because I couldn't find anything about no pregame stretches.

It's a fact he said it during training camp. Said players need to warm up on their own. No more warming up. Said they had to much work to get done to spend time on that.

If I have time later ill search for a link. Don't know why you would think we would pull it out of thin air.

Maybe I just misunderstood. I was thinking that they didn't want to players to warmup before the games. I don't care if they tell the players to warm up on their own during training camp or practices during the week.

I think Palmer still has a ton of ability, his touch pass to Floyd was probably the prettiest throw by a Cards QB since 2010. However, there is no explaining or excusing some of his mistakes. That article actually makes me feel worse. Throwing into triple coverage, blowing easy first down throws. He can read the field, he can make some amazing throws, I dont get where these brain farts come from but once or twice per half he really craps his pants.

Yeah, pretty sure thats what he meant. They were not going to set aside a bunch of time in camp for warm ups, he expected guys to be ready for practice at the start of practice. The idea that they are not warming up before games is absurd.

One of the two picks was not Carson's responsibility. Even so, he took an unnecessary safety, forced a throw to Fitz which was intercepted, and had several other bad throws [mostly high] to open receivers. It isn't good enough when you're playing a good team on the road.

Who does he think he is? Eli Manning? :bang:

Makes sense to me.

LOL

Sure seems like the QB and receivers are not on the same page.

its stretching. he said players should be stretched come practice time, that he shouldnt be using his time having players stretch but rather to teach and run plays
