Thanks to Cardinal Bob and his wife for the beer and the Card chat...it was nice to meet you.

On the way out of the stadium...

I was wearing my Cardinal jersey in a sea of Bengals and while trying to get to an exit...the door of the elevator opens and standing 5 feet in front of me is Mr. Bidwill and Michael B.

I give a thumbs up and say Hi Mr. Bidwill...great game.

I get a blank stare from both and the door closes.

I had to laugh.

Your Avatar is kinda scary...is your other eye like that too?

Maybe they have never seen a Cardinal Fan in Cincy before...?

Sr. looks like he can barely keep his eyes open. You can't blame him. He probably didn't see you.

The reaction from Mr B doesnt suprise -- he has long been known as a guy who is socially akward

Mike Bs reaction does -- usually a pretty outgoing guy

wouldnt read into this too much. You never know if something of a more personal nature gave them their somber tone.

Old Mr. B is a straaaange cat. I've been in conversations with him where he's been legitimately surprised someone on his own staff was from Chicago TWICE within 5 minutes. And that person said they'd talk about Chicago once or twice a week. Nicest guy in the world though...just a little spaced out. The Bidwills do so much good work in the community I always hate to see people give them static...and these days they don't deserve static.

Michael Seems Nice to Me

Michael seems cool. He was stopping by tail gate parties last weekend to say hello and talk football.

His exact quote to me was, "Have a blast today and remember to cheer loud when we're on defense."

Here's a pic with my wife, daughter, and a couple tail gate buddies.

Yep. He is has zero social skills.

I was really surprised my Mike B. The Cards just won a big road game and a reaction somewhere between Mr. B and Mark Cuban would have been cool.

I did read that Mike B flew into the Cincy game from Dubai -- maybe he was just whacked at that point

I work for a division of FedEx & we have NFL Open Houses for our best customers at stadiums all over the country. Living in York, PA, I've attended some Raven Open Houses in the past. The team always brings a member of Mgm't, a HC or Coordinator & about 4-5 players for autographs. There is usually a live band & TONS of great food. My counterpart in Phoenix went to last year's Open House to commemorate the opening of the new stadium. Both Bidwill's were there, Pendy was there (No DG - he's a snob) & the players were Warner, Wilson, Boldin & Rackers. Before they let the customers in, we had at least 45 minutes to chat with these folks & get 1st dibs on the food. My counterpart tried to get authorization for me to attend, but FedEx said NO! He said that Bill Sr. is an introverted guy, but loved it when my buddy could talk Cardinal football going back to the sixties. He thought Michael was a great guy with an almost opposite personality of his Dad. Mom must have been an extrovert. Michael is an extremely upbeat person & the players there respected him a TON. Warner is a GREAT, GREAT person & is so down to earth. My buddy has 4 kids, so they had a lot in common. He loves the AZ area & will probably stay there after leaving football. He would love to coach, but it depends on time restraints (Family & God come 1st). Wilson & Boldin had more people swarming to them, so he didn't talk directly to either (he spent too much time talking to Kurt). They must have been entertaining, because the crowd laughed along with them. He said that Rackers is quite the character & was also impressed with how big the guy was. Once the customers got in, Rackers had all the good-looking women around him. He never had the chance to talk to Pendy, because all the big-wigs from FedEx were around him. He later heard from his FedEx brethren that the Bidwill's really like Pendy a lot. Apparently, Pendy is very intelligent & has the right makeup to be a HC in the NFL. He must be impressive, because Whiz also came away impressed & kept him. Don't be surprised if we lose Pendy before we lose Grimm. Grimm wants the Skins gig & will wait another year or two for Gibbs to retire. Pendy will interview for every HC opening after the season. He is very well respected around the league.

Agree with Donald.

Bidwill Snr is a shy old man, at least that is how he has seemed to me the couple of times I've talked to him. He was not outgoing in the slightest.

MB on the other hand seems perfectly normal. He was even pretty cool when d-dogg [irrc] threw beer on him by accident at Jilly's.

I wouldn't read anything into it

If you saw colonel Hogan around a bunch of Stalag 13 guards he probably wouldn't say much either.:D

It's funny, but I got the same reaction when I saw them. But I wasn't there to see the Bidwills anyway, as I was really there to collect the remains of the Bengal's season.

Perhaps they were just surprised to see me in my Cards gear.

Ive met Sr and Michael before.. Sr sat in the row in front of us at the uni unveilings.. He stopped shook our hands and talked a lil..

Michael bought us beer at the Big Red Rage after I was accused of spilling beer on him.. But the true culprit knows who he is..

That guy is an idiot. Thank God he doesn't post here anymore. He probably spilled beer on him on purpose.
