I'm pretty sure this was the coaching staffs decision and not Beanies. Always funny when peeps question someones toughness when I seriously doubt you would say any such thing to his face. haha Like many have said probably a good idea to sit him with the weather issues anyways.

It what is no surprise, coach Ken Whisenhunt said running back Beanie Wells — who had hamstring issues Thursday at practice — will be a game-day decision in Seattle. The official injury report is still to come, but Wells said he did go through some work Friday. Whisenhunt said part of the week of work was getting newcomer and veteran Chester Taylor more reps, so there is a comfort level if Wells cannot go.

“We wanted to be conservative as opposed to injuring it so Chester got a lot of reps,” Whisenhunt said.

“It’s doing well,” Wells said. “It got a little tight yesterday so we decided to let it calm down a little bit,” adding “I don’t think I’ll be limited at all if I play Sunday.”



Well mainly because leading up to the game Beanie seemed pretty sure he was going to play, and it's usually the staff that makes those decisions. Why do you think he's a "puss" too?

NO ONE drinks the kool-aid like I do!!! I haven't predicted a loss since the 2003 season. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

What's your expertise and experience that gives you the insight on whether not playing is usually a coach decision moreso than the player himself telling the coach he just can't go?

Once again I never said I was an "expert", however I did play football several yrs myself and and the majority of the time when a player was held out of a game the coaches were the ones who did it with the player wanting to give it a shot. Maybe you should have gotten off your fat ass more when you were young and actually played some football yourself instead of just acting like you actually know what you're talking about.
