The annual post as yet another draft pick has been wasted and the Cards go 5-11 with 'em and 5-11 without 'em.

From great draft to he's a bum in 3,4,5 easy seasons.

According to at least a portion of ASFN:

2005 Rolle bum
2006 Leinart bum
2007 Brown half bum
2008 DRC bum
2009 Wells bum
2010 Williams bum

:(

Levi is a straight up bum as far as firsties go, I still don't understand how his injury this year has improved his status, but it kinda makes since as far as the Cards go.

Why all the hate towards Wells? He's never bad mouthed the organization, he's worked hard, he's stayed out of trouble, and he's actually a really good guy.

It's pretty easy to sit behind a keyboard and rip on guys for being hurt. The guy busted his ass last year on a clearly injured leg and still ran for 1000 yards and 10 TD's. He has tried to play through injuries his 4 years here and you have ass clowns on here calling him a bum.

You've never heard me rip a guy for being hurt or playing injured. It;s just like when people call Wadsworth a bust. They guy was injured. I've said Wells was likley done in Arizona. That happpens. I hope he goes on and plays well somewhere else, unless he's playing the Cards. We've got some real pieces of work on this board.

Adrian Wilson said last week he think his days are numbered. Neither ripped the organization so why is Wells getting hammered for saying the same thing?

Never said it with Rolle. I would have loved if our FO took care of him and locked him down like Wash. But when he hit FA, and NYG offered what he's getting, I wouldn't match it either. If Levi is NOT a bum because of one good half a season the last he's played here, than DRC is boiled garbage for his awful last full season here. I'm curious to see what happens with DRC when he hits FA

Even though he was 2nd rounder, you forgot the "clubhouse cancer" and easily replaceable Karlos Dansby.

Well, the great thing is that there is no chance that he will go to another team (or teams) and be fantastically productive for the next twelve years.

So, we have that going for us.

I sure as hell don't hate the guy and think he would be a stud if the oline was decent, but the time has come. He is not what this league is about anymore. You need a guy that can take it the distant. We need some durable threat to take it to the house.

I personally think our WR's are hot garbage quite frankly. We are easy to defend. We have no deep threat and no running game. There is no threats to the defense. They play us straight up and we get whipped man to man across the board.

I agree with this

I just think he is physically not able to do what needs to be done. Micro fracture surgery just isn't a good thing for any high level athlete that relies on explosiveness from his legs.

I beleive him when he says he feels really good. I just think the reaction isn't there.

That fumble, if you watch the replay closely: he tries a jump cut and his knee just collapses.

Are you saying Centers wasn't a productive RB when he was here?

He absolutely wasn't a productive RB. He was, however, a very productive pass-catching FB :D

Beanie needs to **** and play. I don't want to hear malcontent players whining about how they think they're done in a city, and 'auditioning' for 31 other teams. Your bolded section above is directly contradicted by his comments quoted on this thread. What he said makes him, in fact, not a good guy, but just another player causing trouble.

If he was even remotely consistent it'd be a different story. If last season was any indicator he will give you 4 good games and be a below average back in the rest. Constantly dinged up and he has awful balance. Getting knocked on your ass by your own qb and then fumbling away a TD was the last straw for me. Completely done with the guy. I thought rolle was decent but once we signed Rhodes I knew we would be better off (we were). Leinart sucks. Better than what we've had the past 3 seasons but that literally says nothing. He'd have been on IR by week 4 this season for us. Brown is historically a bum in pass pro for half the season, but at least he's consistently good at something (run blocking). DRC was straight up awful in his 3rd season with us and wouldn't fit rays scheme anyways; I don't know how he followed up his stellar sophomore campaign with that mess. I haven't missed him the past two seasons. Wells is an inconsistent walking injury bug. I like Williams but if he can't find a way to stay on the field he's not doing us much good.

That's a pretty disappointing group of 1st round talent. Yikes. A lot of inconsistency in that group.

maybe it's lost in context, maybe it's because AW gave this team his mind, body, soul and then some...

IMO, AW didn't say his days here were numbered, he said he was worried about his reduced playing time, as that's never a good sign for an older player. He never came right out and said "I'll be trying out for 31 other teams this Sunday". That's classless IMO. Beanie has busted his ass. I like him as a player and as a member of this organization and community. do think he's injury prone, but hardly a bum. I think he handled this situation like a bitch though. Busted up RBs are a dime-a-dozen in this league. I would bet Beanie thinks he's gonna get some big contract and is in for a rude awakening once he fits FA

I like beanie as a guy, but damn.. you dropped the effing ball on the 1 yard line without being touched. Come on son. All this public pontificating is borderline assinine.

This may be the dumbest post I can remember you making :doi:.

To construe that as being a malcontent and whining, is......well, like I said, just plain dumb. Maybe if he went to PSU, you'd have different thoughts. That can be the only thing I can imagine causing you to think that way.

If that's being a malcontent, I'm going to translate to the traffic I'm about to endure today. If anybody is going a mile an hour over the speed limit, I'm calling them in as dangers to society.

Centers was great, (a star) for us and himself! Catching out of the back field he was the best IMO in the NFL. As for the Bean he coulda been a contenda. His body didn't hold up. wish him great luck if he leaves. He always seam to go hard.

???

I hardly think it's a stretch to take his saying "I'm trying out for 31 teams this Sunday" as being dissatisfied with the 1 team he is obviously implying that he is NOT trying out for

agreed. the only thing he should be saying is he has no idea what happened on that play and it will never happen again. not bitching and whining and talking about where he's gonna be next year. If you want to be wanted, try not falling down without being touched and then just dropping the ball in the endzone for no apparent reason whatsoever.

I'd rather have Rhodes than Rolle. Rolle was a lot like DRC in my opinion. Yeah, he would make some BIG plays here and there but frequently got burned because of the chances he took.

Really? Dude says he is playing for 31 "other" teams and he isnt a malcontent? I am not saying he cant be a good person still, but he is clearly not content with his current situation and has no qualms about letting the press know.

And I dont think Beanie has earned the right to whine. And endless string of injuries, 2.8 yards per carry, slipping everytime he tries to cut, fumbles into his own endzone without getting hit... He needs to shut up and produce.

Beanie knowing his Az carreer is toast let's us know how Whiz rolls.

How Whiz rolls? It wasn't hard to know his AZ career was toast the minute he lost the ball. I suppose the vets could give him a ball to carry around all week. Again. Not that it helped when he was a Rookie. But he's outta here.

It's not Beanie hate. It's Beanie can't produce.

I'm with you 100%. We were lucky with Rhodes. We had no idea it would work out this way at the time though. Similarly, I like DWASH over Dansby, but I still think they should have done more to keep him at the time. Or more specifically, before the time

Personally, I like Wells the person and hate Wells the player. He's injury prone and a one-dimensional back, can't catch, blocking isn't anything special, doesn't have many moves and has poor balance.

I'd like him as a goal-line back if we had a starter who was more dynamic and got the bulk of the carries.
