He had a few great ones today. I was going to post this morning that I thought he even had a chance at 200, but I decided against it. Glad I did.

If he can stay healthy and work on some fundamentals this offseason (fumbling, footwork, route running) he could be really special for this team.

hi....ummmmm.....can he start now? 6 carries 4 yards for hightower. 17 carries 110 yards for beanie. im not a math major, but i think beanie is a little bit better, and finally now the numbers show it.

hi...ummmmm based on those numbers it looks to me like Beanie IS the starter, or at least the feature back.

He is one bad mammal!!! He's every bit as explosive & strong as AP. His TD run today was something I haven't seen a Cardinal do in a long, long time. If ever. O J Anderson was great, but I actually think that Beanie is just as special.

Beanie now has more rushing yards than any Cardinal rookie RB since Ron Moore in 1993. The 4th highest total by a rookie in franchise history behind OJ Anderson, Moore and Johnny Johnson.
Way to go BW.

Now he only needs 900 yards in the last two games to match OJ Anderson's rookie total. :D

Big IF he would have started earlier in the year, he may have been Rookie of the year! To bad about the early fumbles, but, he has had a ton of big runs called back because of penalties.

Some other Beanie notes –

1. If he was given on average 3 more carries per game he would be well on pace to break the 1000 yards rushing as a rookie.
2. He leads all rookie RB’s in rushing TD’s, one more then Moreno who has 71 more rushing attempts.
3. The last 3 games Wells is clearly the #1 RUNNINGback on the roster. He has carried the ball 45 times compared to Hightowers 14 times.

In one way I wish we would give Beanie 80% of the carries but the way Whiz handled Edge last year it may be best to share the carries during the season then unleash Beanie during the playoffs.
