We were a decent starting lineup before. Now we have a BEASTLY starting lineup. Who cares if you have depth when still both your starters AND depthful bench are getting blown out by contenders because you are getting murdered, absolutely MURDERED, at the SG spot.

Now at least we can try and win the game with the starters and with select rotations against contenders we might pull it off. It should be one hell of a lot of fun to watch such an upfront talented team.

I agree that this makes us relevant again. We are a dangerous team, like a super-duper version of the golden state warriors that upset the mavericks.

I like that.

Before we didn't have a snowballs chance in hell, now with some luck and maybe some sick execution from the starters we could pull it off. At least there is a chance!

The BIG key is going to be keeping nash rested, we got hill covered with barnes now so this is priority number one, if we can fix that somehow I think we are set to make a serious, though definately underdog, shot at it all.

Besides all of that I am absolutely ultra-pumped to the point of stomach sickness to see our starting lineup in action.

Nash/JRich/Hill/Amare/Shaq

GOOD GOD

Love the move! More athleticism and another guy who can create his own shot! SCARY starting lineup!

Unbelievable! I watch this forum every day and nothing happens. I get pulled away for a few days due to finals and, bam a blockbuster trade goes down. I about crapped my pants during Suns game time when they announced the trade.

1. Nash, Dragic,
2. Richardson, Barbs, Tucker
3. Hill, Barnes, Dudley
4. Stoudemire, Amundson,
5. Shaq, Lopez

Great trade! I can't wait to see him in action. We're a little thin up front now and we desperately need a back-up point guard, but what's new? What the heck was Charlotte thinking?

I am so excited! This seems unreal. I can't believe we got rid of Boris' contract to get J-Rich!!!!

Somebody pinch me!

Yeah, I like Raja... but he was looking old the last two years.

Don't forget, we need to sign another player to reach the minimum roster size--I'm guessing Damon Stoudamire might be coming to Phoenix.

Dudley will probably be more of a 4, he's a bit undersized for it, but he's more of an inside guy. The Suns will really need him at the 4 too since theyre so thin their now.

I really hope the Suns can bring in Damon Stoudamire to back up Nash, he can't do much anymore, but Dragic can't do much yet.

They also need more front court depth but thats been a problem forever maybe they can get lucky around the deadline.

Congrats on getting J-Rich!!! He is gonna be lights out for your team and you will really enjoy him, for he plays with heart!

As a GSW fan, I am still not happy that they traded him...

If Boris starts alongside Okafor, he will get 18ppg.

I think Diaw needed a fresh start. I expect good things from him over there.

I might be one of the few that's sad to see him go.

What makes them relevant to me IMO is because people are going to be talking about the Suns again. People all of the suddenly don't know what to make of the Suns. That to me is what makes us relevant again.

Yeah, they're talking alright. Most saying "What the heck are the Suns doing? Where's the defense coming from? Who's going to back up Nash?"

Most can't understand the trade; apparently they haven't been watching the team this year.

Heard that Raja had requested an extension before the season and was rejected. So that set the tone for him this season.

I have a feeling that Brown will get alot more out of Diaw than Porter ever could. Larry Brown knows how to develop role players, and I suspect that Diaw will help develop the young charlotte players more than JRich. I hope the best for Boris, and I suspect that he will produce more as a Bobcat. Bell may be at a stage of his career where he is a good 15 minute bench player. Frankly he would fit nicely behind JRich on this suns team, instead of LB. the suns needed a potent outside threat who can put the ball on the floor when the defense trys to close out the shot. JRich has a nice mid range game, a great fit for this suns team that has weak mid range game pieces. JRich is a great player for a running team as well, hopefully the suns can run more effectively now. Funny that this trade makes the suns defense slip, after all the talk about "defense". I like the trade because the pieces match and amare/nash will get better spacing with JRich out there.

I got that impression as well. Have they looked at the stats at all or were they only watching their own highlights? There were a few that felt this was a good move.

It's not like we had a backup for Nash now and J Rich was playing better defense then Raja this year. Plus the word on Dudley is the guy is a scrappy defender and rebounder.
