I will never forget the 2pt conversion and the SB TD. Thanks for your contributions Ben.

Unfortunately your suspension, injuries, and lack of growth shortened your time here.

I remember there was one game that he did great and everyone was calling me to see if they should pick him up in fantasy.

Wish I could retire.

Before everyone jumps to conclusions........

Former Giants TE Ben Patrick says he abruptly retired on Saturday to attend to "some personal issues and family issues."

He also hinted his retirement is not permanent. "Right now, I’m just sorting through some things and figuring out my next move," he said. "Hopefully, I’ll be able to return (to the NFL) sooner rather than later." A seventh-round pick in 2007, there's no guarantee Patrick will be able to find a job whenever he decides to return after passing up an almost certain roster spot with the Giants.

Based solely on his 4-game suspension last year and nothing else, it would make any reasonable person wonder whether Ben wanted to avoid a drug test. (If, in fact, he is clean, he might want to take and publish the results of a new test just to avoid speculation and clear the air).

Pretty pathetic IMO that you guys are trashing him. He played and played hard for us and the guy is going through an obviously tough time.

Not really being that he was suspended for taking Adderall.

Ben Patrick wasn't bad for a 7th round pick. Just had the misfortune of playing for a team with an offense that didn't utilize the TE as an offensive weapon.

Under CKW six Tight Ends have combined for 123 receptions. This on a team that has thrown the ball 2,375 times during that time frame.

Todd Heap has 151 receptions during the same time frame and he missed 10 games in 2007.
