Releasing the previous season's free agents before March is a Keim tradition unlike any other. This volume is crazy, though. It's so out of the ordinary that I wonder if there isn't something else going on. It didn't look like Jamar Taylor and Benewikere were playing that awful. Suddenly they can't even be depth?

But who knows? Taylor is currently a free agent. Maybe he's happy sitting on his guaranteed salary for the rest of the year.

I wonder if Wilks and his staff didn't have the ability to communicate what they wanted/needed to the scouting staff.

Agreed.

The main reason I am so uninterested and have no faith in the Cardinals organization right now what is in bold above.

It seems like pure madness going on inside the Cardinals organization.

I see this as a last ditch attempt to do two things:

1. Send a message to the locker room that Wilks is in charge and there are consequences for not playing to scheme or getting your job done with effort.

2. Send a message to fans that the organization isn't happy with results either

I find it interesting that the guys cut all blew plays in ways the avg fan can recognize:

Jamal Taylor, not very good all year, but BLOWS a coverage on a double move to give up a highly visible TD vs the Raiders. Cut that next week.

Andre Smith, not very good all year, but gives Joey Bosa two clean runs at the QB. Cut the next day.

Bene Benwickere, OK play during the year, but free lances a coverage and gives Mike Williams an easy TD. Cut the next week.

Phil Dawson. Not good for most of his tenure. Misses a FG. To IR and on to Zane Gonzalez.

Well laid out - thanks!
