There was this really good place I went to once, but I forgot what it was called. BJ's has good pizza, but for now I have to stick with...

Peter Piper! :D Nothin' better than their all you can eat buffet.
Peter Piper is great IF you have them put extra sauce on. With the extra sauce, It's awesome. Without, it's OK.

Does NOT sound awesome. Sounds like crap.

It is crap. We went about a half hour before it opened and waited. When they opened we were put on a list and told it would be 2 hours before we got seated. The place seats about 50. We were about 20th in line but every person in line was the place holder for a large party.

No pizza is worth this amount of aggravation.

I stood in line for 2 hours to get Pizza Bianco. I would probably be killed right now by a random pizza nut, but it wasn't worth it. Not only was it on the expensive side, I've had better.

People like their pizza like they like ice cream, 100 different flavors for 100 different folks.... however I was not inspired. There are some mom and pop shops around town that do it better. I've also been to New York and Chicago and the dirt pizza in those cities are way better.

I like Flancers (2 locations: N of Guadalupe and Gilbert and Higley and McKellips) and Red Devil, many locations across the valley

I'm no pizza snob, but I eat it a lot

Growing up in northern New Jersey, the best pizza in my opinion is at Kinchley's Tavern. I lived less than 15 minutes from there and I make sure every time I go back east I get a few pies. They have the best crust. I'm not sure what part of NJ you are from Jersey Girl, but have you been to Kinchley's Tavern?

I have never gone to Bianco's but have heard it's very good. I don't live in Phoenix but I did go to NYPD and I thought it was good pizza.

As for someone mentioning Magpies earlier in this thread, they are good but I recommend No Anchovies.

Nope. What town is it in? I'm from South Jersey, near Philly.

The best pizza is free pizza. At my work we get all the pizza we can eat for free once or twice a week from Peter Piper or Barros. While those places aren't that great, it's nice to know that it's Peter Piper feeding us for free or the kid's parents buying us pizza. :) I love my job

I've been to Flancers but never had thier Pizza. I just can't get past thier damn sandwiches, the cheesesteak is too good to pass by.

I guess I'll have to break down and try the pizza too.

I just got a mailer today informing me that the NYPD in my area, 18th St. and Camelback, is now delivering.

Whoo, Hoo!

I was excited too until......
I called up to order a pizza and it is a twenty dollar minimmum, with a three dollar delivery charge on top of that. I'm one person here.
Screw em, it's not that good!

I sent them a nasty e-mail too.
Told them Streets of New York was cheaper.
We'll see what happens.

This whole smiley thing just really sucks!

I will keep you informed.

How funny!
I just got done typing this when I received an email from NYPD.

To paraphrase
"We're sorry, we're still trying to figure this out, But hey, if you stop by in the next four days we'll give you a free pizza".

The point of the whole process was to not have to pay almost thirty bucks for a delivery pizza after tip!. I will pay twenty bucks for a quality pizza, after tip, to be delivered but the line has been drawn.
