I'm excited to see Bethel's continued growth as a CB.

He quit on the 4th down hail mary because only AR can throw a ball that far. Seriously, he probably thought AR couldn't throw the ball over his head at that point.

Then he didn't watch tape because AR threw it 60 yards in Detroit.

Did Babin see the field at all last night? What happen to Swearinger after the first GB game?

Bethel is fine for now because he is our only option but an upgrade is definitely needed. I think ARZ addresses the position early in the draft (Round 2 or 3..maybe drafting a couple).

Get off of Bethel. Jeez. No, he's not a starter. Honey Badger got hurt, and Powers is taking his role. That puts Bethel in the lineup. He's a backup. Get over it. One of the toughest positions in football.

Exactly given the situation he's been throw into I think he's doing GREAT. People really forget why he's in this position.

There is no better option so I don't know why people are complaining it's not like you got a better option

Because everyone loves to identify the one guy who isn't playing great and pick on him mercilessly.

Look if we had our choice we would not have Bethel out there. And if the queen had testicles she'd be the king, what's your f-ing point? Every single team has injuries. Carolina is missing two of their three starters at CB. Green Bay had no receivers. Pittsburgh is starting an RB off their practice squad.

You go with who's ready to go. It's January, everyone is hurt, and we will do the best we can do with the talent that we have.

We will see how he does when Cam goes at him with his fastballs all game next week. I think he will answer the bell.

Bethel is probably not as good as Powers, William Gay, or some of the other #2 cornerbacks that we've had in the last decade. At least, not right now.

The good news is that next year he has a $1M salary, and we'll have a chance to take a good, long look at him with more time.

I think that people who are acting like he's some green rookie are forgetting that he's a 4th year veteran who has been challenged to become a starting-caliber corner for the last two years. He's probably behind schedule right now.

Yeah...for hose who are killing him for the hail mary...it is easy to lose track of your man when the Qb is scrambling around. Bethel looked back, and then lost Janis. It happens, especially to CBs who haven't had many game reps because it isn't something you ever practice. Deion Sanders was talking about it after the game.

He was a guy so off the radar as a football player he was going to be a freaking chef out of high school. Then, he goes to miniscule Presbetyrian College and is now starting in the NFL.

His success was completely unpredictable. He is way ahead of any "schedule" anyone can come up with, considering where he came from.
