Man CBS painted themselves into a corner on this show with the 24/7 internet feed. They're getting absolutely hammered for this seasons cast because of all the racist, homophobic and otherwise insulting comments made from some of the cast members.

The youngest is a 22 year old college student from Texas named Aaryn Gries, she doesn't know it yet but she was just dropped by her modeling agency for some of her comments. One case she told the only Asian in the house to "go cook some rice". She's also made homophobic comments and several racially motivated comments towards the one black woman in the house.

It is interesting I didn't like her immediately, she's cute, but annoying as hell, so it frankly doesn't surprise me too much but apparently she's just one of about 4-5 people that have done this. CBS admitted they were at one point considering dropping those people off the show but decided to let it ride for now because it's part of the whole thing.

It appears they're not telling the cast members what's going on so the cast is not aware of the reaction in the public eye and media which is basically what a bunch of pretentious idiots.

This season my do it for me, casting Rachel's sister really bugs me, not only is she annoying too, but it creates this ridiculous situation where because she's so obviously her sister, the whole cast figured it out immediately. BB obviously realized this might happen and that's clearly why they created the "MVP" thing this year knowing people who like Rachel will vote for her sister and she'll then have some chance to stay. Even then she's on the block the first vote.

Right now this is by far the most unlikable cast they've ever had.

isnt this the point of the show though. Unlike other shows you cant edit things and make someone the good guy or bad guy you are actually seeing how these people are in their real lives. Im glad the show is exposing these people for the slime they are.

Agreed - and CBS should show that on the prime time episodes as well.

They did last night with Aaryn. They also did IIRC with GinaMarie.

Now the real question IMO was, were they going to do that anyways, or did they do that because of all the bad press they got the last few days about this? I'm guessing they didn't originally intend to air it but felt they had to.

Remember several years ago Evil Dick was on there tormenting someone (Jennifer?) and the tv feeds didn't show even a fraction of what he was doing. They showed him dump a drink on her(which according to the rules could have gotten him kicked off the show) but they didn't show him screaming obscenities at her and in some instances what in everyday life would be considered threats, I mean he literally burned her with a cigarette while pretending he was going to. He apparently told CBS it was an accident but she insisted it wasn't, and CBS never aired the entire segment which led to NOW protesting them not expelling him.

CBS took quite a bit of flack over that when it came out what he'd said and done that had never aired, I'm guessing what we saw last night was semi related to what happened then with Dick.

I assume the 3rd you mean is Dick? Apparently Spencer in the current show is not fired, but his employer is "distancing themselves" from him and they said they're complying with union rules. in other words if we can fire him, we will.

Same thing racial slurs, homophobic comments, but he also apparently said Hitler was a "gifted speaker" and used the C word describing some women.

the stuff they showed last night some of the other houseguests even said did they forget they're on camera. howard said he really wanted to call them out on it but he was afraid he'd get voted out if he did.

Calling hitler a gifted speaker is a bad thing? The dude, no matter how evil, had powerful persuasion techniques.

I know what you're getting at but apparently it was the "way" Spencer said it that alarmed people.

If it was remotely in doubt that Aaryn was just misunderstood, she proved it last night. One of the other women in the house pulled her aside and told her that many people in the house think she makes racist and inappropriate comments all the time. She rolled her eyes and said "that's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. I wish I cared but I don't."

You could even see the disgust in Julie Chen's face when she showed the clip.

The girl also said they call me barbie and make blond jokes, what's the difference. Her latest comment was observing the fishtank "how come the black fish stay at the bottom and the white fish are at the top working to get food. Is this tank segregated, are the black fish just lazy."

Reached the point now where I'm watching it like it's a train wreck about to happen.

Aaryn again denied she had said anything racist when confronted, the same show they showed her arguing with the black woman in the house where she mocked her "whachu goin do gurl" after she flipped the girls bed over without provocation(the girl wasn't in it). then Gina marie jumps in her face and says "do you want the black in me to come out?"

I get that Aaryn is young but even the other houseguests are saying we all know the cameras are there and they're apparently interviewing the other people in the house asking them about the racist comments, they're telling Aaryn this and she's still insisting she doesn't make racist comments.

She is on the block this week I don't think I've ever wanted someone out of BB more, even Rachel who I couldn't stand. the main thing is I can't wait to see the look on her face when Julie Chen tells her what is being said about her in the media. I'm guessing Julie won't tell her she's been fired by 2 modeling agencies, probably will let them tell her, but I'm sure she's going to tell her how offensive the comments were.

Normally I'd expect BB to somehow come up with an angle to keep her for ratings but if they're asking everyone in the house about the comments and warning them,(apparently they warned Jeremy) then I gotta believe they're tired of her too and will just hope along with me that she doesn't win POV and gets voted off the show.

Right now it's the worst season ever IMO, I'm hoping if she goes home it'll get better.

I didn't realize that you could gain so much weight immanently after eating so much frozen yogurt. Did anyone else watch this competition? Is that possible? I guess so.

I like Howard and all, but when he started his speech with "irregardless", I decided it was time for him to go.

Wonder how they got found out. As if someone reported them and was watching the show. Is my guess!

IT's been all over the media so I'm sure their employers had an easy time hearing about it too.

even the new and improved nice Aaryn is still making racial comments.

I have to think this is the worst season? Aaryn has CLEARLY been warned by the show, she's completely changed, and she's not just being nice because she wants to stay in the house, she's clearly been told how she's being portrayed outside the house and is doing damage control.

They deny it, now that the jury is being formed they said they don't tell them anything when they get voted out, but it's clear. Candice on the way out clearly knew what Julie Chen meant immediately when she referred to racial comments, so did Howard. Judd, well he just comes off as dumb as a post, but he's commented in the house before about all the racial stuff Aaryn says.

But you have to hand it to Amanda, she has managed to out "mean girl" Aaryn, she's so hated now America voted her the last 2 times to go up on the block.

It's a very unlikable cast. The only 4 people I liked were helen, Andy, Howard and Candice. the last 2 are gone, Andy has become the house tattle tale, and Helen's power has gone to her head so she is completely running the game. She's playing very well, but I no longer like her.

At this point I want jessie to win.

For someone that is sorta supposed to be married to Amanda in the house. Mccrae doesnt do a very good job sticking up for Amanda.

Too bad it looks like jessie is going home this week I wanted her to win too. I dont know who to root for after her maybe spencer since he is the outsider and wants to get amanda out

Andy needs to go. What a puss.

I'd love for someone to put up Amanda and Helen and say, "Time to pick sides, people!"

Looks like Amanda lost her realtor license. Four of these house guests are going to go in hiding for a long time.

http://gossipingpens.com/2013/08/05/amanda-zuckerman-fired-from-job-as-realtor/

The most interesting thing to me in that link was the link that claims Amanda is close friends with the producer and the outcome is rigged for her to win and an ex CBS employee will reveal how later on.

I would think with that out there if they WERE going to try and rig it, they won't now.
