Big Cards announcement on Thurs per Jurecki

I know that I posted my guess earlier regarding the stadium. However, wouldn't it be a nice surprise if the "face of the franchise" Boldin received his new contract... to the tune of 6 yrs / 29 mil. and a 11 mil signing bonus

Well Jurecki said it was something big. I hardly doubt season tickets have much to do with a "big" announcement (unless they finally decide to lift the local blackout or just give away tickets). I also doubt it's a coaching or personnel change. I could see it having to do with Emmitt Smith, even though I really don't care. I think the current speculation of a uniform tweak is as good a guess as any. Many "Bowtie Bill" finally wanted to generate more revenue. Who knows, but I have always been a big proponent of a uniform change, so if its true then .

I know when new teams unveil a new uniform, there are usually many rumors, an announcement to the fact, and usually fans polls as to whether you like the black helmet or the white helmet, or whatever.

To see the animations, click on each bird - the 1st has a chirping sound, then growls and smiles.

The second one shows the Card eating a worm, then a bolt and nut, then 49ers and Rams helmet, a cactus and some other misc stuff then burps - then says "That's one tough bird"

Maybe they're actually going to finally wear their alternate jersey, and maybe they're changing it to black (instead of blue)? Heck even Chicago and Miami wore their hideous "alternate" Orange jerseys this last season.
