Big Man Himself
He's gone unless we franchise him and pay him LT money.

"Normally, tackle Leonard “Big” Davis lingers in the locker room after practice, taking his time like most of the offensive linemen before he showers and leaves.
Friday, Davis — who will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason — was the first player off the practice field and one of the first in and out of the shower. His locker had already been cleaned out.
Was it a signal Davis is done in Arizona?
“We’ll see,” Davis said.
Davis doesn’t become a free agent until early March. The Cards can try to extend his contract before then, or use the franchise tag, although both cases seem unlikely as of now. "
Sometime the obvious escapes the reporter. BIG's Dad is very ill and he wants to get home ASAP. Rather simple isn't it.

I take no offence at being called a "lier", as I couldn't find it the dictionary you suggested I consult. As for my earlier point, I admit to being somewhat confused; you jump so often from assertions that connote facts, to covering it later with IMO, that one gets lost. I'll refrain in future from attempting to understand your permutable musings. As you alluded; it's nothing more than banter over the rather mindless game of football.
Good! Now that is a perfect word. Musings....you can definately say I am musing.
That is most agreeable. Cheers over a Lablatt Blue.
You never even heard Shawn Merriman's mentioned when he was lined up against Davis yesterday. That's all the front office needs to know when deciding whether to bring him back.

Frankly the whole o-line did an excellent job yesterday--
one sack (and that was on a funky pull the guard to block Merriman-- who jumped right over Latui's cut) and 4.5 yards a carry against statistically a pretty good defense
It seemed to me that it was Wells who was supposed to cut block Merriman, and Lutui pulled around on the double team, but Shawne was already too wide. The camera angle was high, but it sure seemed like there was an OL (a RT) who was laying on the ground before Lutui turned to try and keep Warner alive for another quarter-second.
Big did a great job, and I think that Milford Brown did an even better job blocking Igor Olshansky, who is a really tough draw. Actually, I don't know if the Chargers were playing Jamal Williams at the nose or not, but if they were, the entire interior line did a supurb job.
