I had to shake my head in disbelief over Bill's suddenly poor business decisions the last few episodes, but it looks like there's a swift and just God in this universe. Man, he is taking it in the groin second episode in a row.

Man has Bill ever been nut punched lately.

I figured the Gaming thing would disappear and it certainly seems like this may happen. I found the whole convention thing strange.

Bill playing poker seemed awkward and my sense is he laid probably laid down the bets hand that one time and it almost seemed like he didn't know how to play the game. How can he not be able to beat a pair of 3's?

Albie is twisted...almost too twisted for this show. He is going to keep Roman drugged up and is really on a power trip.

Nikki is trouble.

I think Albie is going to kill Roman...and I'm sad about that.

This episode was

Lots of stuff going on, jeez. The Weber clients were a little freaked out by Bill's polygamy...methinks they'd rather that he just smoked, drank and slept around.

So is the final episode of the season going to be a real Christmas family special or what?

So why was last night (Sunday) a new episode? Wasn't this show moved to Mondays? Was it moved back?

I was thinking ABC After School Special but we seem to be of the same mind.

Last nights episode was kind of awkward to me. Something about it seemed to be stepping too far into strangeville..."kidnapping", snakes, Joey and women missing. EDIT: I forgot to add another near poisoning.

Looking forward to next week however...glad to see Roman back on his feet.

I liked this week's episode. Nothing is too strange for these people.

Albie is a sociopath.

The shhhh is about to hit the fan,

Respectfully yours,

Hollis Green

That was the season finale? Ugh. Not really up to Big Love standards. I fear this show is circling the drain.

Are you kidding? I loved that episode.
Nicki's need to gloat does in the family again...Roman arrested for transporting girls, and Albie turns him in to solidify his hold on the power there, with his man-wife. Sarah gets it on. Anna returns and you know Bill is into her again...bring on the 4th wife. Barb outs the family to the neighbors--wow. Bill's mom really has been using crazy Wanda to kill people (or try). Weber gaming still up in the air, but now Barb is involved with it too. Respectfully Yours Hollis Green and Albie are still in cahoots. I really liked that episode and am excited for the next season to see what they do with all of it.

BTW, I don't think it's ever been explicity mentioned, but does anyone else get the impression that Bill had to man-***** himself out to survive after getting kicked out of the compound as a kid? He says often "you don't know what I had to do!!" regarding that timeframe.

Bringing back Anna was a bit of a reach to me. Too much of Barbara except I did like her outing the fam to the neighbor. Sarah mocking Roman was a great scene. Just doesn't seem to have the same tension and/or flow as episodes earlier in the year. BTW, who did Bill slap? I missed that part.

It looked like things were going to resolve perfectly for Bill until the last 2 minutes. Nikki continues to drive both my wife and I crazy. We're sort of counting on Albie knocking her off.

There is no way that happens. Her flaws are far too valuable to Albie. Her big mouth gave him the Weber knowledge, which lead to him finding out about Bill's part in Hollis Green's crew attacking Juniper and Roman. She gave him the info that led to him having Old Roman arrested. She's an unwilling spy for Albie, and she doesn't even know how much she's messing up her own life. Heck, it's more likely Bill would kill her than Albie...

Nikki is more likable than paininthebutt Barbara, in my opinion.

Her believing that Roman would live until he is 118 years old was awesome. Her calling Albie all the time is not, I suppose.

It was super-awesome.

Barb marching over to the neighbor's house though...just the way she did it all from grabbing Margene's hand to coming back and telling Bill...well acted.
