OK, confession: I must've missed the episode that does the flashback that explains exactly why Bill fell in love with Nicki, why Nicki so willingly joined Bill, and how Barbara accepted (with gritted teeth, I assume). In spite of all the references in dialogue, I've seen nothing that explains this relationship to me, particularly considering Bill's righteous contempt for Roman. None of it adds up to me how Bill or Barbara would tolerate Nicki as the second wife. I'm struggling with this character. I can't suspend my disbelief every time I see here politicking in a home that's more or less free of politics until Bill's turn towards greediness the last five or six episodes.

I guess this all goes back to my dislike of Chloe Sevigny.

if i'm not mistaken barb was extremely sick and nicki was instrumental in nursing her back to health. it was the strength of that bond that likely convinced barb to go along with it, i'm thinking conniving bill saw it more as a political opportunity.

just watched it - great episode - a lot of tension, a lot of different things going on and enough to keep me handing for the next season

Last night was a nice introduction back to Bill and the wives. Good episode, and they are right back in the crap. Next week looks really, really good. Some bad ish is going down.

Btw
was the young girl in the photo that Roman showed Bill's brother his new wife? He was showing him her as what he could "have" if he went along, before he threatened to give Wanda to his sink-pissing dad? If so, that's freaking off.

Just like when the lawyer was talking about looking into Juniper Creek, and the girl is back there playing cat in the cradle...while the Prophet is thinking about getting a bj from her or something. Creepy ass Roman freaks me out.

Started S2, last night. That scene grossed me out too. I had to explain it to my wife. lol

S2 has some creepy moments and some seriously awesome moments.

Yes indeed!

Just finished season 2. This show is much more than I thought it was. It's filled with interesting characters. Just like everyone else that has posted in this thread, Alby give me the creeps. I've actually seen seven movies that he's been in, but I've never noticed him before. I'll have to keep a look out for him and see if it's just this role or if he's always weird like this.

The funniest line in this season had to come from Margene's kid when her mom passes out, "I didn't do anything, she just tipped over..."

What a mess man, it gives me a headache just thinking about all the crap on Bill's plate.
