Zarko doesnt play like a big man... he tries and i mean "TRIES" to play like Dirk. We dont need that. We need someone down low who bangs.

Hoopshype does not include him and they list 15 under contract with the addition of Ruben Patterson and Josh Powell. http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries/la_clippers.htm

It appears that the deal with the Clippers was never completed, at least according to a Clippers website. Apparently they have backed out. So he may very well be a free agent.

There you'll also find a link to a news clip reporting that Korolev was close to signing with a Turkish team.
The Istanbul team Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul is getting ready to sign with a Russian player.
There are rumours around the basketball society that Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul has agreed on terms with the Russian forward of Los Angeles Clippers Yaroslav Korolev (206-G/F-87). The 1987 born player had the following averages in Los Angeles Clippers last season: 1.2 ppg, 0.4 asp, 0.3 rpg. The exact situation of Korolev will be cleared in the following days.

Did Esteban Batista play for Gonzaga?

I think you are confusing Esteban with J.P. Batista. http://www.draftexpress.com/viewprofile.php?p=372

I think Esteban showed enough in the FIBA Americas to be worth giving a camp invite: 20.8 ppg on 50.8%, 12.4 rpg first in the tournament (13.9 per 40 minutes 3rd in the tournament). His offense was good enough that he could shoot 9 of 14 against USA and 14 of 25 against Puerto Rica. Only Argentina held him under 10 points, but he still had 9 rebounds in that game.

nba.com lists him at 6'10" 268
hoopshype lists him at 6'10" 240

Supposedly he lost about 20 pounds in preparation for the tournament. I'm still not sure he's going to run the floor well enough, but most of the people being discussed don't either.

Having said all that, since we have to sign someone, I would like to give someone like Brown a chance, or Batista, or Otis George from the summer league. I'd rather sign a younger player who has not played in the NBA yet (or played very little).

I tend to agree. I'm also curious what happened to Otis George. Did anyone on the board see him play?

Batista is the one on the list that has me the most hopeful.

I think Zarko needs to log major minutes for a Euro team before he could play in the NBA again. He needs to build confidence and picking splinters out of his backside isn't going to help.

I saw Otis George play a bit and thought he stunk it up on defense but his rebounding numbers were quite good for the whole summer league. Team reps said that they were interested in him for the future but that he has a contract commitment for the upcoming season that prevented him playing for the Suns.

Do you think PJ Brown would get mad if the Suns signed Elton Brown? It would totally change the back of his jersey.
No, cause Elton Brown will be dropped as soon as PJ signs if he ever does, so PJ will be good to go with his jersey. :)
